Kira stood at the edge of an alley, looking around nervously. I hope he gets here soon.....

A man walked past, paused, and took a few steps backwards to look at her. "Look at a pretty little thing like you, all alone at night. How much to take you home?"
"What? Why you disgusting"
The man grabbed her arm with an arm made of heavy steel. "Ooh, I like em feisty"
"Let me go!"
"Or what?"
Kira screamed and the man slumped over. A bullet was in the man's head and the palm of her hand had a hole in it.
"Did I......" she muttered. The SynthSkin on her hand began knitting itself back together.
"I...... I shot him....."

IC (Matt):

Matt heard a ear-splitting scream and he looked to Virnuk "Kira"

Virunk frowned, as he drew his sword, and ran off in the direction of the scream. He didn't want to cause any fear; but in this case, protection was better than worrying about whether someone or something was scared, in his opinion.

Matt ran towards the source of the scream, arm laser unfolding as he ran. He stopped short when he saw Kira and the dead man. Virnuk was already standing there, in shock.

OOC: now would be a good time to mention the three laws of robotics. =P and yes, they are mandatory in all "intelligent" robots

Virunk narrowed his eyes, after a few moments of standing in shock.
"You... you just... you just broke one of the three laws of robotics; like those renegade cyborgs and robots that attacked my town..." Virunk said; more of a sad look on his face, as he had hoped that Matt was right about Kira.
"Why did you do this?" Virunk asked, his sword at his side in a non-hostile position, however, if attacked, Virunk would defend himself with as much force necessary; no matter what Matt said.

1) cyborgs have human minds, so are not governed by the three laws of robotics

2) what do mean, that matt was right?

OOC: Ah, my mistake, meant to put both... Virunk doesn't truly know about the human minds part, given that most 'upgrade' themselves completely in his town, more or less. And there are indeed robots there, too. =P

As for 'Matt was right', he meant about Kira not being bad. =P

IC Kira: "I didn't! It just.... happened! I didn't even know i HAD this thing!" she said, indicating the repairing hole where the bullet punched through the palm of her hand "It was... just instinct"

OOC; robots don't have instinct =P

Virunk frowned; despite the fact that she seemed believable about the accidental shot, and such; there was just one thing that bothered him, aside from the fact that the emotionless state of robots meant it was easy for them to lie(Despite this seeming more emotional than typically possible, and seemed real)...
"Instinct?" Virunk asked, slightly puzzled.
"I didn't realize that robots even had instinct..."

Kira wiped her hand across her face, as if to wipe away the tears she was incapable of creating.
"they don't. but i told you, she's... different" Matt said, and took Kira's hand in his.

Virunk frowned, but nodded, as he placed his sword on his back once more.
"I believe you." Virunk had to admit; given everything he had heard about Kira, that wouldn't be impossible. However, he frowned, and looked at Matt curiously.
"There is a good question, though; where did she get that?" Virunk asked, as a hand gun wasn't exactly something that would be in a typical civilian robot...

"I don't know..... I thought this was just a standard Siri shell..... did they do anything to you at the lab?"
"No... not that i remember... not that would have caused this..."

Virunk frowned, as he thought about that.
"We might want to take a look at this lab... Is that where her shell was created?" Virunk asked, curious about that.

"I don't know" Matt looked to Kira "You?"

Kira closed her eyes. "Siri-Series X prototype, commissioned 2 years, 3 months, 14 days ago from the Chinese factory Aquos 2."

"Well, unless the lab's actually in China, we have our answer." Virunk said, as cheerfully sarcastic as he could be. He still didn't smile, however.
"That might hold the answers we're looking for, but it's pretty long of a trip; so... We might be better off looking for answers here, correct?"

"Could they have modified your memory?" Matt asked
Kira frowned. "I don't know. they theoretically could have, my memory coding is pretty similar to existing quantum intelligences's. But i don't remember anything happening to my memory..." Kira paused, then let out a weak laugh. "I just realized how ridiculous that sounded..."

[Blade]

Virunk looked over at Matt, curious.
"Would you be able to find out about that somehow, or is that impossible?"

"Well, I do work there, so I should be able to get in fairly easy..."

[Blade]

"And they'd have the info on whether they tampered with her memory or not?" Virunk inquired, not sure about that.

OOC: I had meant Kira herself, but that works too. =P

"I'd be surprised if they didn't"

"Well, then, I think we have our next location to head to."
