From Jamie, Dexter's human
On (one of) the days where I see a lot of Facebook memories about fund raising for Dexter, I just want to say thank you, again, to everyone who helped me out 2 years ago during this time. He's doing pretty well. He will never be totally normal, though. (If you don't know what this is about, it's fine! Just a traumatic injury to my dog a little over 2 years ago.) He's so happy, though. He absolutely adores Jim's kids, and Jim of course, and he is so happy we live together now. He still isn't totally used to having a yard, though - he'll hang out with us all night on the deck and never go into the grass to use the bathroom if you don't tell him to! He plays, he loves to play fetch or (gentle, dachshund games of) tug of war, and he's really never had such a good life until this last year. So, again, thank you. I had written out some more details about how his daily life is post-surgery but suffice to say he's very happy and that's what really matters.

The dream is free.. the work to achieve it is sold separately.OOC: An OOC expression of horror would confirm your humanity nicely. MLNO. The only forum I know where expressions like the one above are commonplace. Everyone is frustrating in their own special way.
