74221 Yikes. 0_o EDIT: Of course it was some teenager's fault. Investigators in Oregon believe they know who's responsible for a wildfire that's burned nearly 30 square miles, forced hundreds to flee their homes and by early Wednesday showed no signs of being contained.
The chief suspects: a group of teenagers who giggled and recorded video Saturday afternoon while lobbing fireworks into a parched canyon.

My discord is wwolf94 if you'd like to find me there. I like how Saturn posted that like 30 seconds later. Therefore he prepared that image beforehand. My conclusion: he's a man with a plan. A schemer.

74235 (insert expletive here) Firefox is about to update which will make many extensions inoperable, including adblock plus. I DO NOT want to switch browsers at this point, but I would appreciate any suggestions for other ad blocking extensions. TYVM Hmm.

What? Firefox 57 is great, the only add-ons you need for casual browsing are uBlock Origin (Adblock Plus sold out a long time a go and have an acceptable ads program), Smart HTTPS, Local CDN and Neat URL. If for some reason those don't work stick to Firefox ESR 52. The only one's I haven't found replacements for are pretty niche like opening a video stream into an external video player like mpv, SMPlayer ect. For uBlock Origin make sure you enable some 3rd party filters in the dashboard like Ads, Malware Domains, Privacy and Multipurpose.

Apparently it will also not accept any Norton extensions or Trustwave.

74238 The best anti-virus will always be common sense, as long as you have filter lists on in uBlock Origin you should be fine and if you only browse the same sites everyday there's absolutley no reason to have an add-on like that as it will only use up more RAM and slow the browser down. If you ABSOLUTLEY need those then use FF ESR 52, Waterfox or Pale Moon. I've installed those add-ons I mentioned for my Mom and Dad and they've never had a problem when browsing the web (especially since my dad always tries to find The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, whatever popular show streams online and those are infested with ads and pop-ups).

Looks like some version of adblock came along, but I HATE that trustwave is gone... I visit a LOT of sites that are new to me very day to read articles friends and people in various groups have posted.. any ideas what to replace it with? Thanks so much!!

I'm going to stick to Chrome now. I'll wait and see what everyone says after using it after a month or so.
