I am rereading Joshua, by Joseph Girzone. I highly recommend it.

Joseph Girzone is a great author.. and a former Priest. I enjoyed re-reading Joshua so much that I bought several more of his books..
The Parables of Joshua
Joshua in a Troubled World: A Story for Our Time
The Wisdom of His Compassion: Meditations on the Words and Actions of Jesus

He has over 20, and I hope to read them all.

I'm reading Pilgrim's Progress by Bunyan. Simple, elegant, straight-to-the-point, and a good read for any sound Christian.

Just keeping the topic alive Wink

I absolutely LOVE Ted Dekker's books! Especially his fantasy books. The Circle Series was the best, IMO.

Boneman's Daughter was disturbing, at least that's what my mom said. She wouldn't let me read that one. I haven't read Kiss or Adam, either, but mainly because I'm broke and have no money to buy books Tongue

I got Green the day it came out, but waited to read it because I had gotten... some other book, can't remember which book now. Tongue I have too many to count, they are all stacked up against the wall in my room, because I ran out of room on my bookshelf.

people here only seem talk about music, computers, and TV. do any of you read?

this is the topic to discuss what you like to read, your fav books, ect.

right now I'm reading Starship Troopers.

Woo woo Starship Trooper an EPIC read and different from the most excellent movie as well.

I've been reading well maybe not reading it's been on my mind as a ponderance lately.

If you listen to a book on audio tape/cd whatever are you still reading? Hmmm good question no?

I've not been reading book books lately.

But I've been enjoying podcast books enmasse.
Listening to a lot of Scott Sigler stories now.
But others as well.

Prior to the last 3 months I read.
Cobweb
The Big U
The Snow Empress (Sano Ichiro Novels book 12)
Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 1)
Living Dead in Dallas (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 2)
Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 3)
Dead to the World (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 4)
Dead as a Doornail (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 5)
Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 6)
All Together Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 7)
From Dead to Worse (Sookie Stackhouse, Book cool
Darkly Dreaming Dexter (Book 1)
Dearly Devoted Dexter (Book 2)
Dexter in the Dark (Book 3)
Confessions of a Yakuza

In the past two or 3 months I've listened to.
The Zombie Chronicles: Escape
Fried Green Zombies
The Takeover
Aliens and Satanic Creatures Wanted: Humans Need Not Apply
Infected
Contagious
Earthcore
Playing for Keeps
The Rookie
Nocturnal (Current Listening)

Future Listening
Heaven - Season One
Heaven - Season Two: Hell
Heaven - Season Three: Earth
Heaven - Season Four: Wasteland
Heaven - Season Five: War
In the Service of Samurai
Beautiful Red
Cell U.R.
AmerIndian 2192
Under the Stairs
Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom

Future book Reading
Dead and Gone (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 9)
Dexter by Design (Book 4)
The Fire Kimono (Sano Ichiro Novels book 13)
The Cloud Pavilion (Sano Ichiro Novels book 14)

So I read and um listen to audio books.
All this will be a little less than a years worth of reading.

If you want to listen to any of the audio books I have listed here or look up others they are totally free head to
http://www.podiobooks.com and make an account then download and listen or run the podcast url or xml through http://www.podspew.com on your pc and you can listen to them streaming.

I would highly suggest if your a football fan and sci-fi fan listen to The Rookie it's awesome and a second book will be coming out at some point called The Starter.

It answers a lot, but it is also very confusing. And... somewhat dark. I had no idea why this one character was in the book til the very last chapter. Then it clicked. And then the book ended Tongue And Black began.

I haven't read those, mainly because I want to buy the "set" all at once, but Barnes and Nobles does not carry the books. Angry So, I have to order them off ChristianBook.com, but, like I said, I'm broke.

And about Green, I do not believe that you should read it before Black, Red, and White, like some people have said. It doesn't make much sense that way, and if you haven't read the Paradise series, you're not going to get who the one character is, and why he's there.
