Mexican product packaging, plus it is in the "Immigration Highway" zone.

And seriously, what guy would dump thousands of BACKPACKS
?? Please. lets not get absurd. That goes for teens too... how many of them wear baby diapers...or would throw away backpacks??

Also, on the http://www.azgfd.gov/ Arizona Game and Fish Department website, a .pdf was published in 2006 which describes the Sonoran Desert. When listing the Major Stressors Affecting Habitat (Element 3), the first category in the list is “Border Issues” described as the following:

Stressor Category: Border issues

        * Illegal dumping/littering along the border
        * Unauthorized roads & trails created by illegal immigrants and smugglers
        * Dispersed camping along the border
        * Enforcement activities along the border

Also, on the website http://desertinvasion.us they display many other photographs detailing similar images. These photos have detailed descriptions as to when and where they were taken.  http://www.desertinvasion.us/invasion_pictures/invasion.html

..then, if those are absurd, how about a garbage dump? Everything you see on the internet and tv aren't always true.
