Wow, this is going fast!
Anyway...
Paradox was walking trough the debris of the ruined building, waiting. He called Artarnus, a criminal on the run, for a meeting... But he had different intentions. When Artarnus arrived, Paradox ran at him, but was shot by a hundred bullets (Wow, overkill) from a machinegun near him. Artarnus raised his hand, signaling the shooter to stop.
"Thanks for that one, and remember, the time is near...We need to find at least one more, to complete the circle..." Artarnus said, and dissapeared.

Sim lost his doctor powers, the secret role killed Paradox...
And the "criminal on the run" thing means that he is on the run, from the events of the hanging, but with no police force, nobody can catch him. So I doubt that he'd show up on the next hanging.
