What an honour, I Pmed 2 of 9 and he said "I guess so" or something like that.

This is art, to me anyways, I took an oil painting which my mother gave me 25 years ago and decided that the image was cool enough to creat a 3D replica in miniature. It took hours upon hours to build this, and it still isn't finished.

The painting is "Paul Revere's Night Ride" warning the new Americans that the British are coming.

The model is not to scale, although it may be close to an N scale if you want to talk trains.

The houses are wood and removable, so painting may commence, perhaps.

The backdrop is a mold of celluclay, painted with trees added that were scratch built aswell.

The Lego MF is there to give perception as to size

The Church steeple is a toothpick....

The water in the river is an epoxy with reeds of hair on it's borders

the bridges are balsa and steel wire, guage .22

Each house has 2 pins to fasten it to the layout, keeping it stable, which means I can paint later

The light is also scratch built, has 4 led's and is made of brass, then spray painted black...

More to come eh...

Sorry about the massive pics at the end, twas in my early days of MLNO

Ouch, that almost hurt, (being pinned) I kinda liked it in your Gallery, I'd rather stand with you, and others here when it comes to modelling, the pinned topic is nice, and a fine gesture aswell, but at the risk of repeating myself, I'd rather show off my stuff in a topic that said this is MLNO's Gallery, Oh well, that's cool pal and thankyou.  Smiley .

01/14/14 Just strollin by.
I like how Saturn posted that like 30 seconds later. Therefore he prepared that image beforehand. My conclusion: he's a man with a plan. A schemer.
