If anyone has even read these - What are your theories about Tarmon Gai'don, and what will happen after? Personally, I believe that Mat will kill Shaidar Haran, and that Callandor is a sa'angreal and a ter'angreal, that will help Rand re-seal the bore as it once was. I also believe that Isam (Is Lan's brother) is a wolfbrother, and he has been bitten by a Darkhound. Making him some sort of Dark Wolf Brother. I'm not to sure, but I'm pretty sure that's why he has multiple "humans" inside him, and why he likes to kill wolves so much.

It seems in every hero's time they find an enemy that defeats them in battle. Their reply? Look up in the pouring rain, and chase down their nemisis for a showdown.

Ooh, I love the series! I'm working my way through Crossroads of Twilight (at least I think. Whichever book comes after Winters Heart) I was just about to post a topic about, then saw yours!
As for Tarmon Gai'don, I don't know what will happen. Did Jordan even get to that part before he died?

Yeah! Some one besides me has read the books!!!!  Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Have you read the entire series before? As for your question, from what I heard, Robert Jordan wrote the entire ending by himself! And Brandon Sanderson wrote part of the 12th book, "The Gathering Storm". He did an excellent job on it! I'm just finishing the last couple pages of "Winter's Heart" myself, the last chapter of that book, "With the Choedan Kal", is pretty amazing. =P

I've been dragging my way through Crossroads of Twilight. Rather frustrating how Robert sometimes has something REALLY REALLY neat happen (Rand cleaning the Source), and then wait till like 600 pages late to say anything about it again! 'Course, It does have a massive plot, and I'm always getting lost!

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Kinda like when the building fell on Mat, he wasn't in the next book at all! The prolouges are pretty annoying too.

Probably the best thing about Brandon Sanderson is that he cut the prolouge down to about 45 pages. =P

Oh, wow. I'm so amazed.
I'd heard his wife was going to take over the series? How long is Brandonson going to stretch the series?

Robert Jordan's wife is still the editor, and Brandon Sanderson is putting what Mr. Jordan meant to be the last volume into three different books. The first of the three is just as long as all the others, and it's quite good. Was your first sentence sarcastic?

Indeed... And of course there's always the instance wherein you just flip a few pages to get past the dang Purple Prose...

I'm going to have to get the one book back from the library... After the late fines are paid. O_O

But my off topic post was to get the forum back on topic, so that you wouldn't have a moderator editing your posts again. =P
