I don't have the sets, but I did see this in the catalog(really old!). I have  a poster of it, I think the aliens look strange.

Even though Life on Mars was one of my favorite themes, I didn't collect many sets, since I was more into Bionicle (too bad I lost all the Toa Mata, *sigh*). I do however, have the one and only minifig I bought from a set, and one of the engines is used in my Razor Wing creation (not uploaded, yet).

I like how Saturn posted that like 30 seconds later. Therefore he prepared that image beforehand. My conclusion: he's a man with a plan. A schemer.

I really like Life on Mars too, I wished I have the Life on Mars T-shirt. Any one have the T-shirt?

I have the tee shirt.

I think the Life on Mars sets were far superior to the Mars Mission sets in many ways.

Awwww... I thought that this topic was actually about life on mars... As in the real, non-lego planet. :-\

It seems in every hero's time they find an enemy that defeats them in battle. Their reply? Look up in the pouring rain, and chase down their nemisis for a showdown.

Life on Mars was great. I still use the tubes from the sets for a variety of things!
