An adventure can be many things, from finding your first flower as a toddler, to discovering a secret place on a trail, or a perfect fishing hole.
It can be exploring your talents is art, or music, or attempting a MOC unlike anything you have ever done.
It can be travel to a place you have never been, whether that is a foreign land, or just across town.
It can be engaging in a new activity you have never done before. Or pushing yourself to a new level of performance.
It almost always involves the thought " Oh Wow!, I didn't know..."

We all need a little of that "oh wow" feeling in our lives. It is essential to the health of the human spirit.

Talk about your adventures here.
Have you felt "OH WOW" lately???

My brother's having his second kid, and he's only 20. If that's not OH WOW, then I don't think that anything is.

It seems in every hero's time they find an enemy that defeats them in battle. Their reply? Look up in the pouring rain, and chase down their nemisis for a showdown.

You cannot hold a newborn without feeling God's presence. Definitely an "Oh Wow."

Not quite what I was saying, but I guess that works. Another one was when I moved from the city to the country, the lifestye change was a really big, and really rude "Oh Wow".

Adventures, MTM.. even the little ones.. we all think it has to be something huge to be an adventure, but it could be as simple as being behind the wheel of a car for the first time, or seeing something cool in nature...

1: Going to Great Falls where my cousin and I discovered every single nook and cranny and "illegal" trail away from the actual Falls... and having to stop my cousin from accidentally untying a rope that trailed over the cliff edge - AKA someone was climbing the mountain face *chuckles*

2: Going go-karting for the first time... and being in first for the whole "race" until someone bumped me from behind Roll Eyes

3: Going "spelunking" and meeting a range of creatures - including imagining a lot of creatures that weren't actually there Tongue

4: Going to the Gulf of Mexico and getting to see dolphins, and sharks. I also tubed for the first time, nearly lost my pants, fell off, wore a life-vest for the first time, and a few other things.

5: "Working" at the Pentagon, riding forklifts, going to the mall, passing through the Metro for the first time.

6: Seeing snow when I was young, seeing hail when I was young.

7: Running, getting lost, finding my way back... all in a dark, rainy day ^.^

*And... lots of other things that I can't remember right now Roll Eyes

Our class had to film a play for a contest, and we practiced a lot. Finally, OH WOW, we got it all right. And if we get into the championships, expect an OH WOW!!!

Hmmmmmm... Probably both, as now I have to do his chores. =P

Working for WTA this summer at the Twin lakes, it made me appreciate hiking trails a lot more, and kinda opened me up to realize that some people are good people, and they volunteer just to help out others, not themselves.
