Yesterday, Lucasfilm announced that they were working on a new Star Wars series that would focus on comedy instead of action. The new series will look at the Saga's characters with a playful tone. The series will featuring creative involvement from Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, creators and executive producers of the Emmy and Annie Award-winning Robot Chicken, as well as writing from The Daily Show's Brendan Hay. It will be produced by Daytime Emmy and Gemini Award-winner Jennifer Hill (The Backyardigans), and directed by Emmy-nominated Todd Grimes (Back at the Barnyard).

I'm not looking forward to it, which is saying a lot for me. Comedy is alright, but they're talking about changing the stories around...

if i wanted to watch comedy, i'd watch phineas and ferb or something. star wars isn't meant to make you laugh. and changing the storyline is just stupid. tho i'd guess it'd be hard to make light of order 66.....
