What did you learn by using MLN? Share your feelings and experiences here. Such as teamwork, trade, etc.

It teaches me responsibility. Like, people may ask you for some items that you don't have but can make. They would offer clicks, but it would take considerable resources to make them. You have to make decisions to either risk your rank advancement or get more clicks on your modules. It also teaches creativity. Since you can post Factory Modules (showing your models) and stick modules to create a picture. But overall, its a pretty interesting game available to all ages

Excellent topic, lionytai. I talked to 2Mak07 about this and some of the things we came up with were, Teaches you to stick with a goal even if it takes a long time. Teaches you to break down big goals into smaller ones. We learned how to communicate without the right words. The importance of keeping your word. (trades, etc) Sharing and helping feel good. Thank you goes a long way. It feels extra good to help someone who didn't ask. Read instructions. Save them till the task is complete. How to focus on things to find the details.
And many other things.
I personally learned that friends can surprise you with their awesomeness sometimes.

The dream is free.. the work to achieve it is sold separately.OOC: An OOC expression of horror would confirm your humanity nicely. MLNO. The only forum I know where expressions like the one above are commonplace. Everyone is frustrating in their own special way.

I guess #1 would have to be what I suspected all along, I do have an addictive personality and MLN proved that.
I think the game is truly remarkable, don't get me wrong. However, it is designed to keep you interested, and it did that for me, heck, it still does in some ways.
I also agree with all the things MsRR said and lionytai aswell, robbie said some cool stuff aswell.
Playing the game with my grandson, helped me teach him a great many things aswell, mostly how to spell. He's still only 5.
But if you really want to know what I truly think of MLN, click the link below and read my LU module titled "What MLN means to me", I believe it also says what I learned.
http://mln.lego.com/en-us/PublicView/legodac.aspx
I think one more point should be made here, if it wasn't for MsRR, I may never have found MLNO, and that my Lego Buddies is the best part of all.

I learned that I'm not alone in my love for building legos!

It seems in every hero's time they find an enemy that defeats them in battle. Their reply? Look up in the pouring rain, and chase down their nemisis for a showdown.

Nothing comes to the front of my mind, but that is because I generally reject computer in preference for real life experience, resulting in a sort of deliberate ignorance of computer 'teachings'. But I must say, LEGO did a good job making a cute game.

I think RowdyRedhead hit most of it on the target . But also, it makes you feel better about yourself and feel achieved by helping a lower or even high rank out.

We learned how to communicate without the right words.
That's a really interesting, and actually true, one. And using MLN helped me with my patience. I become more patient since then.
