Star Trek: PCG: Brave New Souls [RPG]

OOC: No-one can post more or less until Flipz does, MsRR. =P

OOC: I PM'd this to Red a while back, but when she asked me to send it to Blade, I couldn't.  PCG will resume normal action shortly, I have to check LZP and get back up to speed there, and I have to find where I have my RPG notes.  Note that most activity will take place Thursday through Sunday, due to class on other days.

 "I...pain? No. I already told her...did she send you? Riker, I mean? It doesn't matter. Like I said, everything's fine. Just...just fine." Williams grabs a music player and stuffs the earbuds in her ears. A few seconds later, she's all smiles, though it doesn't take an empath to see right through it. "Hey, I LOVE that outfit, is that burgundy? Ooh, I like that, that's much better than this other junk. Computer! Replicate me 20 yards of fabric in--what was your name again? Never mind, doesn't matter, umm--in this, uh, cadet's clothing color." She rushes to the wall above her bed and begins tearing down the pink. She feels its roughness and makes a face. "Computer, make that velvet, this poodoo's too rough. Oh, cadet, your hair is GORGEOUS. You think I should color mine to look like that? Well, you have GOT to show me how you do it up like that, it's so pretty!" Abandoning her redecoration efforts--on closer inspection you can see this is not the first time she's totally redecorated since being confined to quarters--she races to a drawer and starts pulling out ribbons and other accoutremonts for hairstyling. The drawer is so full it almost won't open--clearly, she's been trying too hard to distract herself--and perhaps any telepaths on board. It's clearly not working for her--but it's certainly more than enough to confuse your mental probing in a wash of conflicting thoughts and emotions. What will you say to her?

"Wow... worse than I thought."

She picks up some fabric. "This velvet will feel like a hug.. just what you need" "Computer, install the velvet fabric" "Replace chair whit an overstuffed chaise in Burgundy chenille topped with mixed silk and chenille pillows."

"There now, sit down, and let me light a few candles..." "tea?"

"Tea?  Oh, I suppose, yes, computer, tea, jasmine, with honey, five gallons."  The sight of Etain's tiny rank pin stops her.  "Computer, belay that, two servings only."   She takes the tea from the replicator, and takes it over to the cadet.  She seems momentarily surprised at the burgundy fabric that was making its way up the walls with the aid of imbedded repulsor units.  "I didn't even know we had those...what is this, a luxury yacht?"  Shaking her head, she sits on the chair Etain just ordered.  "Now, cadet, how can I--" her voice breaks.  She clears her throat a few times and starts again.  "How can I help you, cadet?"

"My name's Valk, ma'am. Valk Tallias. I'm looking for Lt. Commander Andre Pavlov. Do you happen to know where he is?"

"I'm not entirely certain..." Elaine said, as she tried to think of what she had heard about him.
"I believe that I heard he was in the medical bay, but, I could be mistaken." Elaine explained with a nod.

"Call me Etain, please."  "I came by to help you with the...pain."

Well, seeing as I can't find my friend, Vic, I guess you'll have to help me. Lt. Commander Pavlov has requested that I get him out of the medical bay, and I may need some assistance. Would you help me?

Commander Williams radiates dismay, though her face remains perfectly calm.  "Help me?  Pain?  I assure you, I..." her voice betrays the slightest hint of a quaver, and you feel her anger at this miniscule loss of control.  "Oh, screw it, apparently I'm the only person on this [bleep]ing ship who's not a telepath.  Well, except for him.  But he doesn't need freaky mind-powers to know what I'm feeling, he KNOWS how I feel about him.  And yet he...yet he..." she begins sobbing softly, but the pain you sense is lessened.  Obviously, the release has helped her, a lot more than her talk with her last visitor.

OOC: My characters aren't telepaths. =D

Elaine nodded.
"Alright then, but... Why was he in the Medical Bay to begin with? I only heard he was in there, but I don't recall why..." Elaine said, as she tried to think of that reason.
"Doesn't matter though; I'll help you out."

*Being bored, Tyson flips off a random wall in the area near the armoury were he's patrolling.*

"But he's not!  He's...well, actually he is.  But it's not like that!  I mean..." Jennifer growls in frustration.  "It's her fault.  She just won't keep her nose out of our business!"  She blinks at her own virulence.  "I guess that's why I'm in here, instead of out there with Andre."  She sighs.  "How is he, anyway?  The guards won't tell me a bloody thing about what's going on in the rest of the ship."

"I haven't heard of his demise, so I am guessing he is OK.."

OOC: Flipz poked me often enough I should probably come back, though if I do I'll probably end up RP'ing as my "real" character in the PCG universe.

OOC: That would be MOST helpful, actually.  Since the PCG is migrating out into the rest of the Internet...

"Well, that's good to hear.  You...uh...haven't seen him hanging out with other women...have you?  ARGH.  I'm doing it again, aren't I?  Portia told me off about this earlier, why am I so hung up on this one guy??  Have you ever had to deal with this, Cadet?"

OOC: ^ and MsRR's post: It was really close, but he didn't die. He's just confined to the med bay for pretty much the same length of time that Kaze is. =P

OOC: Unless something picks up with the med bay plot, I'm going to run a quick "holodeck" battle via PM with the Armory characters, and then timeskip to the big "series of cutscenes" sequence that will lead to the close of the Act.   Also, Blade, Tyson is waiting to talk to you, apparently.

Elaine looked to the side, as she blinked, and noticed someone seemingly patrolling or walking down the hall or so.
"Hello?" Elaine called out to the person, with a raised eyebrow.

OOC: Also, kinda hard for anything to happen with the med bay plot, given that Kaze is leisurely resting and reading up on stuff. =P Unless, of course, you decide to have Midori visit or something, that might lead to a comical situation, and have that doctor intervene... again. =P

OOC: I meant the breakout plot. But yeah, I think it'll be easier to just run a holodeck battle.
BTW, lemme PM you and Truth, I honestly have too much on my plate and I need a couple people to go through my species list, skim the Memory-Alpha article, and slap some stats and Special Abilities on them.  Better yet, I'll start a Writeboard...
