Suddenly I have found my old money storage thingy and now have enough money to buy an extra legend. Which should I get? Stronius or Gelu?  Both seem good, so I'm torn between. I'm leaning in Stronius' direction, only because he is apparently in the movie and Gelu is not...

My opinions after seeing more reviews:
Gelu=Worst Legend, plain boring inika build
Ackar=Second worst, makes up for it in sheer amount of recolors
Vastus=Fourth best, nice staff, awesome helmet
Kiina=New body,
Stronius=Downright awesome.
Mata Nui=mata nui.

And the Vorox and Zesk atemmpted to eat Stronius, but Stronius somehow teleported to Roxtus.

Glatorian Legends in order of best to worst:
Vastus: great new armour and upper arm pieces, coolest mask(arguably)
Kiina(!!?)/Stronius: new body, 4 new limbs, cool armour / Cool armour, matching helmet, a CLUB!
Mata Nui/Ackar: Mata Nui, cool armour and weapon / recolours in great colours(he should be Tahu)
Gelu: inika design with not many new pieces.

The /'s for tied GLs seperate the pros for each one (Kiina comes first, so the first pros are hers).

For best Mask:
-Vastus/Gelu
-Kiina
-Stronius
-Mata Nui
-Ackar

Gelu's mask is too cool to be overlooked. I'd get him almost for the mask alone. If only he got a part in the movie(a good part, like being on Mata Nui's team, which lacks an Ice Tribe member (although Strakk would be cool to have too).

Is Tarix in the movie? Vastus?

Tarix and Vastus are.

Not all teams need to have on of each-some teams in the MU had elemental overlap (Lhikan's two water toa and four ice toa, other 4 toa unknown)

...BTW Tarix's mouth on the set is EXTREMELY goofy.  He's always smiling... creepilty... *shudders*

Tarix could have been a much better set. I like the hands and feet in Mata Blue, as well as the 3 Gold Inika Shoulder pieces, but put together with Metru Blue and a cheesy helmet, the set looks odd most of the time. Also, the way Tarix holds his weapons looks somewhat painful...

I want Cendox... and Vastus... but mostly Cendox...

IMHO Slizers and Roboriders are better then modern Bionicles. Matoroinika448 has some Roboriders and they rock, and the launchers work great once you learn how to use them. Slizers are cool too, and unlike the newer Bionicles they LOOK like robots.

But BIONICLE aren't Robots. They're BioMechanical Beings.

Besides, Glatorian and Agori are 85% Organic and 15% BioMechanical, vice versa for MU species.

How good is the Baranus?

The only Bionicle sets I like are the Toa Mata, Bohrak, and Bohrak Kal. The Nuva are just plain ugly, but the 08 revamps aren't bad.

I didn't get any Throwbots/Slizers or Roboriders, and although they look pretty cool, the sets from 2006 to present seem to be the most posable and sturdy sets.

Summer Sets:
0/6 Glatorian Legends 1/5 Vehicles (Skopio) 0/1 Titans

2009 Sets:
4/12 Glatorian 1/5 Vehicles 1/3 Titans (Tuma) 0/6 Agori

I had many more sets last year... The price hike is not good for my wallet. Although my birthday is getting closer, so maybe I'll be able to get more sets then.

Baranus looks like a fun set, since it comes with 3 things to play with(the spikit, chariot and Sahmad). It seems to be growing on me a bit, but with the colour scheme the way it is I doubt I'll get it.
Kaxium looks boxier every time I look at it(which I've stopped doing). But it does come with 4 seperate things to enjoy, which is pretty nice.
It's weird how 3/5 vehicles fit Agori this year, and Skopio fits a half Agori half Glatorian (Glatgorian?), and only Thornatus looks fit to have a Glatorian in it(Perditus is pretty bland though).

From best to worst riders, I'd say:
-Telluris
-Sahmad
-Perditus/Crotesius(as long as Cro keeps his helmet forwards)
-Kirbraz/Sco(if they switched their helmets they pass Cro).

Telluris is the only unique one, and Sahmad actually gets to hold a weapon and a whip. Perditus gets the new arm piece, which is nice, but other than that he's bland. Cro, Kir and Sco are all similar, but Cor is better because of his helmet placement(although I don't like his little feet). Kir and Sco have bad colour schemes.
