they are canon. terry is coming to BM next year. and blue guy is not vezok, tahu is un-nuva-fied. and he gets "enhanced" somehow, aka gold armor. all confirmed by the gregman himself.

You guys seen Skopio XV-1 in the new cat. The tracks are what I'm interested in, allthough, a very cool model from Lego, Bionicle is becoming more and more awesome every day..

My guess is that lasty year's and this year's canisters have sold terribly so far.

That's what they get for re-using the inika and piraka design.
And to me, it doesn;t make sense that they'd releases a Stars gresh and Skrall... only a year after they've been released the first time.

I can see how Tahu, Rahkshi, Piraka and Takanuva fit in.. but Gresh and Skrall don;t. They haven't even been out for a year... but Skrall does sell the best out of the Glatorian. Fact from a LEGO worker at a LEGO store, and Gresh is not far behind.

But 2008 and 2009 have so far vbeen the worst-selling years it seems...

Which is strange, because there have been some excellent sets the past few years, like Lewa Phantoka or Kiina or Stronius or Chirox. The Phantoka were all really good, but the Mistika were pretty lame. And the Glatorian were all excellent Inika clones (except maybe Skrall and Kiina) IMO.

And Strakk. And Pohatu. And Kongu. And the Barraki (who were excellent in general).


Mstika Makuta were okay IMO. Gali and Tahu were the oens that ruined it. Onua was fine IMO (he;s actually my favourite Toa next to Lewa Phantoka)


It's the Piraka body that fails... just so weird to look at on a thing other than a Piraka.

I liked ninja Tahu... Heck, I think I'm one of the only ones who likes the Mistika Toa. The only bad thing about Gali is the fact that she can't look up. I know they tried to fix the wobbly head thing, but that's not exactly the way to go about it...

Ehlek was the best IMO..

StarSkrall has a black kopaka blade...

Tahu Starta has a dual-coloured A car Ackar Blade

Takastara has nothing special...

GreshStar has Silver Gresh Blades and a Lime green helmet

Rahkstarhi has keetyellow pieces in general

Pirastarka has nothing special...

Though I disagree on Kopaka's mask, it was the worst of the Mata masks IMO.

Onua has the original Pakari Shape (stretched Hexagon) that's why i like him and he has his original colour scheme (well, bits of it)

That Pakari looks more like a Kraakhan to me =P And the Nuva didn't resemble the Mata that much, aside from the body shape, which was the General build then Wink Lewa got Air Katanas instead of his Axe. Gali got Water Axes instead of her hooks, and her Kaukau didn't really resemble the old one. Kopaka and Tahu were really one of the only ones who somewhat stayed the same, plus Pohatu if you count the feet accessories.

Colour is the thing that made them recognizable.

And the fact that Tahu had an Ice Slicer Magma whatevertheyares.

i have 2 ehleks. Grin he was (before i get the barraki collection one xmas) my fav barrakki set. thouigh i hae now revised that opinion.

personally i think pridak's build was epic fail. and only someone who has him may contradict me.

Personally, I thought Carapar's build was epic fail in both build and colour scheme. And only someone who has may contradict me.

Yes, they are canon, and the only two not 'old' are gresh and Skrall. How are they nostalgic? Tongue

Tahu Starta (Tongue)-Definite improvement over his Mistika form, even though it has less pieces.

replace the keetong-yellow and the black shoulders w/ grey. looks awesome. though i don't like his lick of a lower jaw.....

Tahu loses his Nuva plowers, Teridax comes to BM, probably lets a Rahkshi and a Skakdi out, Takanuva and Tahu come out, Skrall probably wants revenge and Gresh is too heroic not to help.

At least, that's what I now think.

What saddens me is that after 2007, Kalmah/Takadox/Carapar armour pieces are not being used. Some recolours of them would be very nice...
