"I don't know if I'm really ready for this yet..." Brooke muttered, as she attempted to leave the room.

"I can guarantee you that if you leave this room without bringing yourself to kill this man, you will die on this mission.  More importantly, the mission will fail, and the Hunters will fall with it."

OOC: Yes, there is a twist to this.  No, you cannot avoid it.  No matter what happens, there will be an interesting bout of mindscrew for Brooke.

Aki sat down and crossed his legs, interlacing his fingers loosely.  The Hunter continued to stand in the middle of the room, unmoving.  "Take your time.  No rush."  His voice did not betray his lie, nor did his body language, which made his next words even more surreal.  "Go ahead and take all the time you need, I'm sure the Chosen Ones will thank you for your thoughtfulness as they clean your friends' blood off of their blades."

Brooke growled, and gripped the mace in her hands, not making another move, until she quickly threw the Mace toward the Hunter.
"Happy?" Brooke asked Aki in a cold tone.

The mace struck the man directly in the face, brutally crushing his skull.  Surprisingly, the man hadn't even moved before his death.  "Good.  You have learned Lesson One: the human life is NOT sacrosanct; it is a resource and must be evaluated and treated as such.  Lesson Two--"  At this, Aki tears the dead Hunter's shirt open, revealing identifying tattoos for a notoriously bloodthirsty gang within the Chaos Hunter prisons.  "--do not trust anything.  Ever.  Not me, not the Hunters, not even your own senses.  Doubt everything, unless you've made absolute certain you know everything about it, and if you feel that way then you're clearly not doubting things enough."  Aki stares intently at Brooke.  "If you'd seen that tattoo--undeniable evidence of that man's complicit guilt in any number of brutal, bloody crimes--would you have hesitated to kill him?"

OOC:  psychological stuff isn't NEARLY over yet.

Brooke was still unsure; she hadn't really wished to be... so willing to kill. However, she shook her head; as someone like that, was someone that should be taken down, no matter what.

"... No..." Brooke said with a frown, believing that more and more as the time went on.

OOC: I feel like such a jerk for this emotional abuse, even though I planned it from the start.

"I see."  Aki wads up the man's shirt, and uses it to wipe the fake tattoo from the chest of the corpse.  "Question everything.  Including me."  Aki stares appraisingly at Brooke.  "Congratulations.  You are now prepared.  There's only one last lesson to learn.  Lesson Three: do whatever it takes to survive.  No matter whose side it puts you on."  Before Brooke can speak, he grabs the girl roughly and teleports out, to the group of Chosen Ones just outside of Terakou.

Over to you, Aki thinks through Ki Blank to InAki.

InAki took the helm just as the group arrived.  His mind reeled from all that he had learned, but he knew with absolute certainly that Aki's plan was for the best of them all.  Before the others could register them, InAki projected the illusion of serious wounds all over his body.  They matched nicely with the incidental wounds that Brooke had recieved in the assault Aki had ordered her to take upon him, as well as the blood of the Chaos Hunter that covered them both.  "Guys!  Quickly, it won't be long before they figure out where we went."  Suddenly InAki spots Sonia, and his eyes narrow to slits.  "Quicker than I thought.  Everyone, back to base, now!"

[Rakoua]

IC (Senera):
I walked around Terakou, hiding my presence using Ki. I was looking for targets. I found an abandoned building and started looking for an ambush site...

Skye frowned, and looked between InAki and Brooke. "Why is she hear? She's one of them!"

I found a good spot and prepared my crossbow, only to be confronted by... Rakoua?
OOC: This is the part where I just confuse you on purpose without it having any meaning.

Kai frowned, not sure about that either.
"Aki, when you said you'd get her away, I didn't exactly expect this..." Kai said, not liking this, as something seemed odd, but he sighed.
"Let's get back, however, apparently Kazuki did some redecorating while we were gone."
