Kaze jumped, but got hit on his lower leg, which made him crash, but he teleported quickly behind Novia, and aimed a kick at her back, but he wasn't quite sure if he'd hit it or not.

"G-stone?" Kenji asked. "What's that?"

"According to tests," Leo explained, "it's an energy source. Where it draws power from, we don't know yet. But we do know it's not Ki."

Kenji thought about it for a second. "An alternate energy source, then?"

"That's right," Taiga said. "We're still looking into what it can do. But something like this has almost endless possiblities. Likewise, we're working to keep this place Chaos Hunter-proof. We've already made this place invisible to scanners, as well as making it Ki-proof from the outside, like you've noticed. Hyuuma-kun's working on other security measures, but those are some of the big ones."

Leo took note of the device on Kenji's arm. "...Kenji, what exactly is that?" Kenji explained the new device and it functions, leaving Leo nodding his head. "Let me see it. I may be able to improve it a bit." Kenji obliged, only to be moved out of the room with Taiga so Loe could tinker around."

"Well, let's take a look around, Kenji-kun," Taiga said, walking away, bidding Kenji to follow.

Kaze's attack landed on Novia's back, and pushed her downwards. Instinctively, she extended her arms out so she landed on them, and then lifted one leg and kicked back at Kaze while she still felt him behind her.

Kaze got hit in the stomach and stumbled backwards a bit, but teleported in front of Novia, and guarded, waiting for her to get up again.

Feeling Kaze's presence in front of her, she swung the leg she had kicked him with around and at his legs to hopefully trip him, if she had aimed right.

Kaze was surprised, but tried to right himself with a quick twist when he was falling, using his arms to push him back up. He then tried to use one of those moves where you push out with your palm at someone at Novia, but wasn't really aiming except at Novia in general.

IC (Novia):
Although she had no idea what he trying to do, she teleported to several meters behind Kaze anyway when she felt him catch himself upright from his movements on the floor. She fired one blast of Ki at his direction, although unsure of her aim.

Kaze got hit, and knocked off balance, though he caught himself, and teleported in front of Novia again, and tried the move once more.

IC (Novia):
Novia had been unprepared, and stumbled over from the attack. Next she tried to move that needed closer contact: she teleported directly behind Kaze, wrapped one arm around his shoulders and neck, and one leg around his legs to immobilize him, and then elbowed him in the stomach with her free arm. When she finished she let go of him and pushed him forward and away from her.

"That was... different." Kaze said, and teleported in front of Novia, aiming to kick her in the stomach.

IC (Novia):
Kaze's kick hit before she could react, and Novia stumbled backward. She raised her hand and fired a blast of Ki towards the direction she felt Kaze in.

The blast hit him as he was walking towards Novia again, and sent him onto his back a few feet behind his original position. Kaze then got up and grinned, and teleported a little behind Novia, and tried a move that Kenji liked to do sometimes in sparring sessions with him.

IC (Novia):
Novia was suddenly on the floor, confused at what exactly happened to her. She didn't dwell on it too much, and teleported behind Kaze to kick him in the lower back.

Kaze fell down, after the kick, and teleported in front of Novia again, and aimed another kick at her, as Dawn ate some popcorn she had gotten beforehand.

Novia stopped for a moment and sniffed the air. What's that smell...? she thought, just as Kaze's kick hit her. She almost fell over but stopped herself by extending out her arms. She then turned to Kaze and kicked at his legs while she was still slightly down.

Kaze got hit, but put his down to do a handstand, and then launched himself up into the air again, flipping himself around, but not upright, as when he got to Novia's level again, he pushed out with his hands at her.

After a lengthy tour, courtesy of Taiga, Kenji and the aforementioned person came back to the lab they had started in. To Kenji's surprise, Professor Leo was almost finished with his modifications.

Instead of a screen that attached to his arm and a glove, it now looked like a large piece of armor that reached up to his elbow. The screen was still present at the top, along with it's various buttons, but otherwise it was surrounded by black armor. The glove was still obvious, but it seemed to have more armor plating. Between the two, on the wrist area, was the green G-stone he had seen before.

Novia, who had been about to lie on her back, flipped herself over, while also moving to the right and avoiding Kaze's attack. She pushed herself up, and teleported behind Kaze to kick him.

Kaze quickly turned around and caught Novia by her foot, though just barely. Dawn was now finishing off her bag off popcorn, and frowned, and got up quietly, trying to get out before they noticed her leaving.

Novia tripped from Kaze's attempt to catch her foot, but pushed her legs forward towards him even though she was down again. Just as she did that, Novia felt something from the room was disappearing but couldn't tell what so she ignored it.
