InAki finally figured out what was wrong with Marik.  "Sithspit."  He teleported behind Marik, placed his armored hands on his shoulders, and channelled as much gravity power as he could into a single blast.  An instant later, Thoron was three stories below, buried to his neck in solid concrete.  "Let Marik out, whoever you are.  He can be reasonable."  He looks to M'Raize.  "What the stang did you make him mad for?  From what I've heard, the emergence of evil Inner Ki beings is standard practice around here; why on earth would you let theirs out on purpose?!  And for that matter...what the stand did you do to make them so mad?"

 M'raize felt his initial death wish subsiding; he saw a way out. "I..." He stopped. "Let's just say it was a personal matter."

OOC: Ooh...I spot the opening I've been waiting for.  Good thing no one's mentioned Skye's name in front of InAki.

"You mixed business with pleasure, didn't you."  InAki facepalms.  "It must be a genetic weakness of all males.  You know, that's why Aki's such a jerk.  Bad breakup.  You see, he was interning for this production company a few years ago, and he met this girl named Skye.  Let's...let's just say it didn't work out.  Aki was devastated, and he swore love was a lie.  So he ended up a jaded, cynical *******."  InAki shook his head.  "No offense to the girl, but she was kind of an idiot.  I mean, after a year and a half, she ought to have known that she should have let him down gently.  She sent him one line.  One line.  Email.  Twelve words.  Yes, Aki overreacted, but..."  Aki searched for the right words.  "What kind of jerk sends a guy a 55-character Dear John out of nowhere the day before his birthday?"

OOC: Can't wait for Sakeo, M'Raize, and Marik's reaction.   And Jade, feel free to explain Aki's...issues when Skye gets to tell her side of the story.

OOC: That's cuz it happened to me.  55 characters, out of the blue.  A week beforehand I was thinking about what I was going to get her for Christmas.  Three or four days earlier I had gotten a package from her (it was a long-distance relationship).  The morning of my 18th birthday, she sends the email.  Thank God my parents kept me too distracted to chack email that day, or else that memory would have been forever marred.

...Actually, overall the month of my birth has a lot of very mixed memories for me.  If someone were to just watch me throughout that month without knowing my past and the memories that come with it, they'd think I was bipolar.  One day, I'll remember something good that happened that month one year, the next it's something horribly bad.  Last year I had a great time with LU and the Creation Lab, so this year I'd better get some body armor in preparation for the inevitable whiplash. >_<

I kinda ruined New Year's Eve for Venom.......  though, in my defense, its when I found out about a lot of stuff that had been going on behind my back. I did a... 8 word txt. =/ He was out of town too, so it really didn't end until January 6th, but..... yeah. And then the whole "lets ruin her life thing" happened... So Breakups suck. Majorly.
