I thought the front page deserved a little spice, this is what I'm working on as we speak. I have a short goal in mind.
For 2012 I intend to build 12 vignettes, one for each month, I'm not finished with this one yet, but I promise, I'll be done before I turn 50.

This theme is based on Garden Railroading and all it's unique features, hey it's winter, I'm trying to think summer.

When I'm finished, I hope everyone will give some advice, always feel free to give constructive criticism to me, I just may use it.

Enjoy the picture, I'm having fun building it, and I will up-grade in a few and show everyone that...

Yes Sir, we have plenty of bananas...

Good news, I found the box that will allow me to continue with construction in the theme I saw in a dream... Wink

Even is a WIP this looks impressive and I look forward to seeing the rest of the monthly vignettes. Although I don't MOC with LEGO bricks, I know that it is challenging as the nature of bricks generally means that getting certain angles are not easily obtained (as there aren't the ball and socket joints like Bionicle and Hero Factory).
However, this build looks solid and the colours in the background really contrast well with the foreground. Also, the scale on which you've built the train is neat, and the use of the one stud circle parts for wheels is cool.

Only problem that I have (and this is a very, very slight problem) is that the minifigurs don't look mini next to the train (but I don't think you can do much about this, as I don't know of smaller minifigs).

Keep up the good work!

Thank you, nice to know when there is something happening, we will always have a great Host. The mini-figs are spot on btw. You just have to imagine the train cars are really big eh, like Centre Island in Toronto, or Walt Disney World. I am even thinking of having one of the figures setting on the tracks a new car. For now, the light source is complete, the hardest part however is making the banana bunches.
