So what do you guys want to do when you become older? Or if you already have a career, what do you do? I myself am in my NJROTC Program and plan to become an Officer in the United States Navy.

At the moment I just plan to go where my life leads me. In the past that plan has never seemed to work, so I guess I'll have to know at some point.

Having a flexible plan is the best way. Have a clear direction and target, but do not be afraid to change that direction or target if iy turns out not to be what you had dreamed.  I know too many people who stayed in jobs/careers they didn't really love because that was what they had planned.

The same is true of college. If you start out in one direction and it isn't what you had hoped, or something else grabs you, don't be afraid to reach for the brass ring. You may end up taking a few extra classes but that is far better than the alternative.

The dream is free.. the work to achieve it is sold separately.
