Lego and Google have partnered to create a chrome-branded web app, named
Build With ChromeBuild With Chrome brings an interface very reminiscent of LDD to the web. Part selection is very limited for now, though it is slated to expand. It also allows you to publish your creations to Google+ or Google Maps. Maps integration is only available in Australia, with global map support coming in the coming months.
Anyone with a WebGL open standard enabled browser (pretty much everyone but IE users) can point their address bar to
www.buildwithchrome.com and get started building!

We all know there's a huge market for a an official Lego CAD, and Lego is ending support for LDD.
Now, perhaps I'm being overly optimistic, but could BWC be being set up to be LDD's successor? All its really missing is the parts library and it would be just as good as LDD, IMHO
