Canama's denying the existence of it because of how bad the PC port of it is, according to Canama.

Well, yeah it was an awful PC port, but that's actually a little bit forgivable. More to the point, it was an awful game. (Or at least the first couple hours were, I wasn't able to take any more than that and so I uninstalled.) In Deus Ex, you always felt focused. I felt like, from start to finish, that I was in a world that was bigger than I could imagine, and all throughout the game I felt like I was advancing the plot.

In IW I spent three hours doing sidequests for random jerks standing in the middle of "Seattle". (Which doesn't look much like a city at all, let alone Seattle.) The game was unfocused, and generally unfun; it honestly almost felt like a single player MMO (i.e. running around doing pointless stuff like going here and killing x of y - not like DX, where your objectives felt like they mattered), and I don't like MMOs. I already had an augmentation in every slot. What happened to making us work for them? In DX I didn't fill in my final slot until about midgame, in Versalife. The universal ammo system was nothing short of retarded, and weapons consumed too much ammo while enemies dropped too little - and if you ran out of ammo for one weapon, you ran out for all of them.

Wait, what were the last two paragraphs about? What's IW? Never mind.

On the subject of games that are awesome, though, Black Mesa. Full stop.
