We once built a wall. We knocked it down anyway. You can do it too.

Putting lines - artificial lines - between humans has never worked out well. We're already looking at the colonisation of Mars, and countries will look very petty then.

We're all human. No matter our background. "But immigrants are stealing my job!" No. Nothing entitles you to a job you didn't earn. Do you think the fact you were born in your country entitles you to a job? Well, it doesn't. Being born into a country is something we don't choose, and it's not something that makes you more qualified for a job than people who originated in a different country. What skills does being born in a country give you? Zero. Zero skills. It's not something to brag about, or be proud of. There's a difference between being proud of your country and being proud of yourself because you were born in a country.

And as a non-American - what the heck was he going on about with 'make america great again'? America is already one of the most influential countries in the entire world and has been for a few decades. Because some non-americans starting coming in, particularly non-white americans? That's not something to want to prevent, that's something to be proud of: that people actually want to come to your country.

You need a better system. One that doesn't favour two parties over all others, because it doesn't work well if a lot of you disliked both. Doesn't help when one of those candidates is (apparently) trying to rig it in their favour.

...And there's no guarantee it won't be eight years, instead of four.

YOU KNOW WHAT? All this doom and gloominess isn't what needs to be said. What needs to be said if, if you don't have hope now, how will you ever have hope in the future? Don't just accept these things, hope they get better! Make things get better. A person people aren't fond of won an election, so what? He's still flesh and bone at the end of the day, and he'll only be in there for four years. Four years is enough to damage, yes, but things can always be repaired. Time, as far was we know, is infinite, and as long as one is alive, you can do something. YOU can do something. Hope is the flame that lights the darkness, and like flame, once it gets going, it can be very hard to stop. It's not the end of the world - not yet! Don't resign yourselves to defeat and hopelessness. If you do that, nothing you want will ever happen and everything you fear will come true. Be hopeful.
