The downloads last longer than that; my HIB 4 downloads still work (Just checked). Since then, there's been Mojam, both Android Bundles, Botanicula, and now HIB 5.

EDIT: The Humble Bundle website says that downloads will work "for the foreseeable future".

The Speed Dial thing is why I use the Speed Dial addon, not the default. With the addon, I manually choose what sites I want, and can even tell them to stay open in a cache or reload regularly. (That's why it looks like I'm always online - MLNO is in a dial for me)
