I was in a car accident in 2005.. I had a severely separated shoulder, and I set in the ER in a wheelchair for many hours. They did not even SEE the glass in my head, or find the head injury. It took me many months to be able to read agin, or drive without getting lost.
I learned patience.

That's wrong to make patients wait 30 minutes. And with socialized healthcare, it will only be worse.

Thanks MsRR. I'll try to do a brief explanation; I started having trouble with my head in February, but it finally went away. And then it came back in April, a week before the surgery. Got so bad that my parents took me to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, I lost my ability to speak for some reason, and my parents got worried that I was going to die. We got there, and they made us wait 2 hours, and finally brought me in. They asked questions about my age and birthdate, which I somehow asnwered Incorrectly. They did an MRI, and found that I had a Cyst the size of a golfball in my head. So they immediately sent me to a larger hospital for surgery. I didn't get a chance to get on the computer till a couple weeks after. When I got on, so many people were praying for me, and I was feeling better and didn't remember to mention it here...

The day I was there waiting, half the waiting room weren't even speaking English.. often it is illegal aliens who abuse the system... not always, but often.
