Its always going out here. The transformers blow up because its so dry and dusty until water gets in them, then they gum up and literally blow. Whenever you see green lightning, its from a transformer.

in six years, we've had two power outages - one was because there was some issue with switching from the standard power plants to the Palo Verde plant (look it up) and the other was because some drunk idiot drove his car into our development's transformer.
