By the time I took off the band-aid, natural instincts were already telling me not to rewash it. The band-aid had to be changed, however, because the one I had wasn't big enough and was pushing on the cut in a way that wasn't going to work. The moment I took the bandaid off it started bleeding again, so I quickly washed it again and put a new one on. Now it is perfect, and wont be unwrapped for a long time.
