So; Zelda. I mentioned I got Skyward Sword; right? Did I also mention... That I got the bundle? As in, the one with the Gold Wii Remote? It's definitely come in handy a lot, as I've had to change the batteries many times, and that would've certainly caused me some annoyance to continually disconnect the MotionPlus accessory. =)

Another thing that everyone gets so far... Is the CD. Yes, that CD. The Orchestrated Symphony one. Amazing. Not sure how they pulled it off; but they got about 45 minutes of music out of 8 tracks. The entire CD is awesome. Tried to narrow it down to one, but that's not possible. Even narrowing it down to three is difficult, but slightly doable, if only because I've had more experience with the tracks due to Nintendo Video.

I must say, though, even though TP had a few downsides to it(I never want to see those Ordon Goats again.)... It's music was certainly amazing, and definitely fitting to it's mood. If I was left with just the Twilight Princess track, a computer, and any physical DoaH notes, I'd likely have the entire thing finished just with that one song. xD Or any other story, for that matter. Unless it was more of an upbeat story, then I'd want some other song, of course. =P

A local Walmart, very early in the morning on the Sunday that was the release day. =P There was a ton of them there, likely because no-one realized the store was actually, you know, open yet. xP

However, I'm not sure exactly how many gamers there are here, because even factoring that in, there wasn't exactly any lineups(Which I'm happy about, since that would've probably ruined my chances at getting the game, assuming they hadn't already gotten there, left, and still had tons of the bundles by the time I had gotten there. xD).

The box is pretty cool, but aside from the extended sides, the box is more or less the same as the case for the game. Same can't be said for the contents.

I already mentioned the Remote, but I'll restate it. Gold Wii Remote Plus; which means it has the MotionPlus functionality built right into the remote. It also has a fancy Hyrule Crest near the Speaker, which is awesome. =D It even came with batteries! Good job Nintendo; very good job. =)

Then comes the game case. Notice I haven't mentioned the CD? Open up the game case... Left side; tons of booklets. The typical 'Oh hey, you like this, you'll LOVE this' game advertisements, the Skyward Sword Manual, and a handy insert about the 8 tracks on the Symphony CD. Oh? Why would it be in the case, you ask? Because the CD's there as well. It's one of those 'dual tray' CD cases, like you see on DVD cases all the time. The CD's on the top tray(At least, it was for me), and the Game DVD is on the bottom part, where every Wii game there ever is or will be is located. =P

So yeah, I'm really happy with the bundle, and the game itself is proving to be worth every penny. =) About 50 hours in, and I'm still thinking there's at the very least another 10, if not 15 or 25 hours left in the game. So, I'll likely have it done by next Friday. =P And while a lot of the time was because I was searching around and constantly talking to people as anyone familiar with old school RPGs, or even Pokemon, would do... Even if a good chunk of that time was that, I'd reckon that there's still about 30-40 hours for the main quest, though a speedrun would definitely test that theory, a run from start to finish, ignoring the side-quests that aren't forced, and not skipping through any cutscenes. And I'd still probably get to that number. xD

So yeah, easily Game of the Year material, and as I said in my bump post over in the Zelda topic, definitely succeeds in dethroning Ocarina from it's status of best Zelda game. The only unfortunate thing? I'm getting way too used to all Skyward Sword's awesome new techniques... And poor Ocarina looks like it'll be neglected because of that. =( Tried to pick it up today, and marveled at how sluggish Link moved compared to in Skyward Sword, though admittedly that's because I dash, like, everywhere. >>;

Once I finish the game(Read: Sometime next week, if not longer), I'll try and do a proper review, but for now, i'll remind people that pretty much everyone is giving SS a 10/10. And I agree with them. =)

Oh, one more thing. In my latest Ocarina playthrough(Master Quest aside); I died maybe once, and that was doing something foolish if I did. In Skyward Sword, I died like three times to one thing alone, and it wasn't because of the motion control learning curve, either. I got very familiar with the entrance to that boss room, I must say. =P

One final word; I'm purposely trying to avoid telling spoilers, and I recommend not to go looking for any, either; it's much better going into the stuff while in the dark. And now... *Tosses Deku Nut at the ground to vanish*

Technically you don't need to talk to anyone at that point; you just have to head to a certain area, which more or less 'unlocks' what you need to do to advance.

I'd keep playing, while it takes a little while to open(Mostly as introduction to the new controls, and the layout of the island), it definitely picks up once that section is finished. Basically, it starts off slow, and then is more or less a roller-coaster after that, as a comparison. =)
