I have an image in my head of what I'd want my character to look like. Now I just have to figure out who that actor was, where they're from so I can get an image >_<

symboiants don't give "powers" in the traditional sense, but they do grant an incredibly superior mind, which by extrapolation gives some psionic powers. Some mind reading, force-like sensing, minor telekinesis. Psionics tire the symboiant quickly though, which is my built in fail safe to stop over-powered players Tongue

And, since they're practically immortal (see trill article) they can learn and do a heck of a lot, and have, well, risen above humans......

But they're still fairly rare. Like to stay in hiding. Mostly. You'll see. Tongue I don't want to spoil too much, I'm still coming up with it.

Modern as in today. But again, centuries of knowledge and hoarding money can allow you to keep on top of tech.....

So pretty much, keep it realistic and its yours. If it exists today, even if just as a proof of concept or an experimental prototype, its fair game. But again, stay reasonable.
