Jade: Hmm. Go to your settings, I think it's under 'internet settings', around where you change your download server. You may wanna try a speed test first, just to see what your absolute maximum is... My speed is drastically lower for downloading for some reason(Not that bad, but it took five hours for me to download TF2 as well), but it doesn't matter that much for typical things. Online plays very well.

It did just release an update yesterday, though, so that might be part of the problem.

Also, if you get it working, I'm up for a match; you haven't bought any Steam games, correct? If you have, send me a friend invite(BZP Blade), that'll make things easier to join matches. If not, then I might be able to get that problem fixed in the future, thanks to Portal 2(PC version disk should fix the problem of me not being able to find Steam cards here seemingly). =)

/EDIT: Scratch that; there's been two updates, thanks to the new map. =P That might be one reason for the whole being unable to launch TF2 problem...

Right, whenever a major TF2 update comes out the North American and western European download servers get overwhelmed a lot. Valve should probably upgrade them.

When that happens I manually set it to download from the server in Poland since that one is under less stress

Not sure why I singled out Poland

I never updated today, luckily. Not being on my comp helps with that. =P I'll update tomorrow or Monday, hopefully it'll be better by then.

Also, despite me wanting to, don't expect any videos of gameplay. Not until I get Quicktime. =P

TF2 complains about Quicktime not being installed when I try to save videos. Technically it also crashes when I go to watch some videos, but I dunno what that's caused by(Though I think we can wager a potential guess. =P). But it definitely complains about that when I try to render it to save it.(Why it needs to do that, I have no clue)

Once that's figured out, though, i'll work on uploading videos, though they likely won't be very good, unless I'm Medic, and a Heavy decides to help out. =P Or, vice versa.

The next big TF2 update is speculated to be the "Mann vs. Machine" update. "Mann Vs. Machine". Two nouns. One of those is a living thing, one is not. In other words, half of them have life. Also, "Mann Vs. Machine" is three words long.

Rakoua: It's off and on. Kinda hard to do much when only three or four people get on regularly, and a handful of them are away for the week or so.
