I will, however, be bringing a copy of Pokemon Black or White 2, as they're coming out while I'm there.
And it's technically two trips, both with classmates. I'm leaving for three weeks with 6 others in June (back July 1st) and then going on the 8th with 22 classmates (Including the 6 from before). The first time, I'll be living with a family in Chiba for a week and visiting the son's high school. I've been exchanging emails with him, he seems cool. His mom's an English teacher, so that will be helpful as well. I'm also going to stay with another student in Kyoto, though I've met her in person (She was an exchange student at my school back in March). We'll be visiting Tokyo too, and I don't know what else.
The second trip is being run by the Japanese government and some philanthropic organization. I know that we're going to a town that was affected by last year's earthquake to do volunteer work (Don't remember the name, other than that it contained しま [
shima, means island]...), but I'm not sure what else we'll be doing. We haven't received much word on that yet.
I don't know if I'll have computer or internet access, but I will *try* to document the trip. No guarantees.
