My sisters were trying to watch the parade. I really couldn't give a c***. But then this employee comes over and starts KICKING EVERYONE OUT of the seating area. She seems to take great joy in this.
As the parade is in progress.
So as she makes he way to us, I grumble something resembling "witch". She gives me an 'excuse me?' Look and says "say again?" So I say, to her face, "you're being a bit *itchy about this."
She puts on a poker face and asks "are you a guest here?" Obviously I am, as that's really the only way to enter the park, so I say Yes. Her response, with a smug smile is "well then, I'm calling security"
She leaves to report me. I hightail it out of there, pulling on my hoodie, and hid in a bathroom for a half hour. After the parade ends dad notices I'm gone and texts me, I say I'm feeling sick. He gives me the hotel key at the entrance, and that leaves me where I am now, in the hotel room, alone, feeling incredibly packed still.
Only Disney can make me feel like a criminal for calling someone out on acting extremely rude.

I guarantee you, the people who work there have it even worse. Trust me, they've told me. If that employee was awful to you, I guarantee that person is
ten times worse to their fellow employees.
The Walt Disney Company is a dark, dark place. Which of course, is exactly the way it was under Walt's control. I've heard people complain about Disney getting greedier and more corrupt and corporate-minded since Walt's death--heck, I was one for a while. But it's not true. The company has barely changed since Walt founded it, it's just that it's getting harder and harder for companies to hide their dark secrets in today's increasingly-connected society.
