Argh. I am just too honest, innocent, respectful, and respectable for my own good.
Sometimes I wish I could "turn off" my over-niceness at will for a few hours, so I could ACTUALLY look out for Number One without feeling guilty for a change.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm happy being a nice person, but I hate not being CAPABLE of doing not-nice things. It just means the negative energy and impulses (that all people have) just end up bottled up, to the point where they just eat away at me and my self-esteem.
