I'm not interested in seeing any more of Disney's Star Wars movies...Episode VII was just disappointing to me. (I know, that's definitely the minority opinion).
I was a huge fan of the old Expanded Universe, read literally every single book, magazine, comic, etc. Even read most of the roleplaying supplements. So I am, to put it mildly, very unhappy that Disney discarded the entire old Expanded Universe in favor of their own story, which I feel is an inferior product. (Rey suddenly has powers that took Luke years to learn, with no training at all...the Rebels and Empire have the same status quo even after all that time...Empire somehow has an even bigger doomsday weapon nobody knew about...Han and Leia's marriage is over, Luke gave up on becoming the new master of the Jedi, the movie has way too many Marvel-movie-esque one-liners...it just doesn't feel like Star Wars to me.)
Back to school in a few days...
