Bionicle RPG Forum Rules, written by Spink.

RPG Topics are required to have a discussion topic in order to make things in the RPG topic all nice and organized.

RPG means “Role Playing Game”, but these particular RPGs are TBRPGS Which means “Text Based Role Playing Game” which is essentially typing out the movements of your character and the interaction.

Anything that does not pertain to the RPG in any way is best left out of the RPG itself, along with the discussion topic. Rather put what you would say where it would belong, or in a PM if it belongs in no place, but is something PM worthy.

The Moderators of this forum are Omega Blademan and Unimatrix and so do as they say in their forum. Their word is considered to be final, and should be heeded.

Staff of a RPG in question are the second highest authority in that RPG; they are only dwarfed by the forum Moderators. If a GM who is a regular member goes against any general rules of the forum, or of the site a Moderator has the authority to rectify that. Although, if you see something flawed in how one of the Moderator(s) act then you can PM said Moderator with a polite, and organized reason as to why you think something should be different. You never know, perhaps they’ll listen.

Flaming: Starting arguments among members that are unorganized, and are not civil, often resulting to name calling and degrading of a member. This is not allowed as it can generate from the argument straight into spam and then into a member rivalry, or even punishment from actual forum staff depending on the seriousness of the offense.

Trolling: This is frowned upon and is when you make statements that can lead into a flame war. Generally a member would be warned a few times by a Moderator before any real action would be taken, but really don’t do it, just don’t.

Spam: I like to look at spam in the following way;

Stupid
Pointless
Annoying
Messages

Spam is something that is completely unrelated to a subject and a matter, and makes no sense where it was put. I.e

“Is there any interaction going on in Le-Metru?” – On topic post located either in OOC, or in the discussion topic.

“I LIEK PIE11!!!!!!!!11”- Spam. How? It has nothing at all to do with the RPG and is a random interjection that can go on your personal page, or in a signature, but NOT in a RPG topic, or really any topic for that matter that comes to mind.

RPGs in general should have stated rules of which a member SHOULD look to before even thinking of starting. The rules are the laws of the RPG and breaking them submits you to any punishment that the GM or RPG staff sees fit. That is why I suggest you read them carefully and fully.

Members should also read the entire FIRST POST of the topic as it has valuable information in it on the story, rules, profile, and other facts and such one would need to know before starting.

Complaining and whining about what a GM or a Mod does is frowned upon, but perhaps describing why you’re upset in a calm, polite and civil manner may let the GM/Staff/Mods of the forum know that maybe for once they may have been mistaken. Humans can make mistakes, and so don’t get so fed up over it. However if the answer is “No this will not be changed.” Do not pursue the answer you want as that word is final.

Bionicle discussion in general belongs in the Bionicle Forum, not here.

Credit to Spink for writing all of this. Didn't know that was humanly possible.  Shocked

The forum is a girl? 0_o
I imagine new people coming to the forum expecting to see discussion about LEGO, only to see RPGs full of deranged characters and insane people talking about cheese and brains.
I'm beet. I don't think I'll do homework tonight.
So, you're a vegetable? Tongue
