To get your rival to strengthen, do the same think as in Diamond and Pearl.  Beat the Elite Four 20 times, and he'll get stronger.

I have a Wii, but I don't have the pkmn game. And I have Game Cube, but same as Wii...

Red, Yellow
Crystal
Emerald
Pearl, Platinum

As you can see, I go for the 3rd game in each generation, with the exception of Pearl and Red(i got red for a birthday after I had yellow).

top six are my main. I'm thinking of switching something for Poliwrath(once I evolve it). Just have to borrow my bro's DS soon to trade evolve Dusclops and Kadabra, although I'm waiting until Kadabra becomes lv 60... or 50 if I get lazy.

Also, I'm gonna train an Infernape, but since I currently have no way to get IVs checked properly... I'm gonna have to go without that for now. Luckily it's not that hard to get more BP/Coins if I have to restart because it's got utterly horrible IVs. I've also decided to use it as a Sword Dance Sweeper, which will probably be the first time I actually use Sword Dance. =P

And working on 252 stats is annoying. I've gone as far as I could with protein and carbos on my Sneasel, leaving 152 to go each... >_>

Hey, what does the Pokerus bonus multiply? Like, say I'm using a Power Bracer, and fighting the Pokemon that matches that EV, would I get double the amount of the Pokemon's EV handout, or the combined of that and the Power Bracer? I wanna know before I start training and mess up xP

The Pokerus multiplies the final amount by 2. For example, if I have a Pokemon with Pokerus holding a Power Bracer, and fight a Gyarados (2 Atck EVs), Then I get 2(2+4) EVs. First you add up the Power Bracer's bonus EVs to the wild Pokemon's EVs, giving 6 EVs. The Pokerus multiplies this by two, thus 2(6), giving 12 bonus EVs. 

The formula is:
2(Opponent Pokemon's EVs + [If holding Power Object, give it 4 EVs depending on the Power Object, if not then it's 0])

How do I know if my pkmn has Pokerus?

And I'm gonna reset my Scisor's EVs to zero, then max out the Attack with Protein. What should my other EVs go to? Speed to make it a Sweeper or something else... And on the Attack matter, what do I EV train against?

... Beat my level upped rival today. Using Scisor and Togekiss only. Scisor is only Super Effected by fire!(just realised that...)

Even after the Pokerus is gone, your Pokemon afflicted will still have the bonus.

How do I know if my pkmn has Pokerus?

1. Go to your Pokemon's stats, and check for a Purple box over the Pokemon's sprite.
OR
2. Go to the Pokemon Center and let Nurse Joy heal your Pokemon. Nurse Joy will explain the Pokerus to you.

You can't max out a single stat's EVs with just the vitamins There's a cap of 100 EVs, or 10 Vitamins.

You'll have Nurse Joy say that they have Pokerus, and then from now on, you'll see an icon that says PkRs on your Pokemon's status screen as a big purple icon. I got it from Emerald, and possibly Plat itself(I still think it was from the Nincada I migrated, but I don't remember fighting with it in my Emerald Party... =/

That's what I meant(max out the amount w/ proteins, then train), which is why I asked where to train for attack EVs. I think a bunch of my pkmn in Pearl have PkRs... Rayquaza, Blaziken, Swampert, Lati@s, and Tyranitar. All but Swampert are lv 100, and they didn't have it in Emerald...

And where do I go for attack EVs...
