Actually, he isn't. He's simply in the Ub3r tier, along with Palkia, Arceus, and the rest of them. Why? Moveset, base stats, and ability. Wink

Yet another review. *snores*

GYARADOS!!!!

Type: WATER/FLYING
Ability: Intimidate - Lowers the opponent's attack by one stage when it comes into battle. Will not take effect if the opposing Pokemon switches out to another Pokemon and the Pokemon with Intimidate stays.
Stats:

HP         95
Atck       125
Def        79
Sp. Atck 60
Sp. Def   100
Speed    81

Author's Opinion: This Pokemon got a real boost from the 3rd to 4th Generation. Physical Water STAB was added onto Gyarados's movepool, and Life Orb makes things more powerful. Stone Edge was a nice addition to its movepool. Gyarados can now devastate unprepared teams more than it used to. Stealth Rock damage was a downfall, but it still is a powerful pokemon even to this day.

Recommended Movesets:
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
EVs: 4 HP or Def/252 Atck/252 Speed
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall/Aqua Tail
~ Stone Edge/Earthquake
~ Ice Fang/Stone Edge

Gyarados's most threatening set right here. Dragon Dance up, and sweep. Aqua Tail is mentioned because of its higher power but low accuracy. Stone Edge and Ice Fang are necessary moves here. Stone Edge keeps Zapdos and opposing Gyarados at bay, but you lose coverage at bulky Grass types. Ice Fang deals with this, but you lose coverage against bulky fliers as mentioned, so its one way or the other.

Nature: Adamant
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 156 HP/108 Atck/100 Def/144 Speed*Smogon for EVs
~ Taunt
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Stone Edge/Ice Fang

This is a Lead Pokemon...

Taunt another Lead Pokemon to prevent it from using Stealth Rock. Taunt can also cancel out status-inducing moves, so it can really help a lot onto your team. Dragon Dance + Attack can be used later, when things have weakened a bit.

Countering Gyarados:

Porygon2 can Trace Intimidate and hit back with Thunderbolt.

If it doesn't have Bite or Stone Edge, Shedinja can completely humiliate it.

The Rotom Forms can absorb a Waterfall and hit back with STAB Thunderbolt.

Bulky Grass types like Celebi can wall Gyarados even with Ice Fang and can hit hard with its powerful Grass moves.

@All - You can do reviews of your own if you would like... If you are interested in doing it the same way I am doing it, I'll be glad to send a PM on my format.

Heatran

Staraptor
Electivire
Milotic

Any suggestions for mah final Pokemon? I was thinking maybe Lucario, despite the type overlap.

Well let me just put it this way-Azels leading, and wearing the opponent down. It knows Stealth Rock (I got it from my friend),extrasensory, detect and Rest. it is holding a Lum Berry, which cures status problems. Heatran is more of a suicidal Sweeper. It knows mostly attack moves and if it is outsped it will go down.

I can't get any of those moves besides stealth Rock. And I'm not asking for suggestions besides my 6th Pokemon,I'm using MY style of training. Look, you can give me all the meta-game stats you want, but i think i should still make my own decisions. I've been playing Pokemon since i was 4 or 5,and I'm 11 and a half now. I have GUT INSTINCT.

Woah. Chill.

Anyways, try finding a physical wall for your team. Let your "gut instinct" find the best wall that suits you. Your team's typing looks pretty good.

No new posts, huh?

Anyways, I will talk/type about my E4 challenge. All my Pokemon were level 60.

Aaron:
I basically OHKO'd all of his Pokemon other than Drapion; I had to use two/three Hi Jump Kicks from Medicham for it to faint. Most of the work was from my Staraptor, but Magnezone OHKO'd Vespiquen with a Discharge and Medicham OHKO'd Scizor with Fire Punch. This E4 Challenge was fairly easy.

Bertha:
All of her Pokemon were OHKO'd. Thanks to the work of Torterra, Floatzel, and Medicham, it was extremely easy work.

Flint:
Same story as Bertha. All OHKO'd with Floatzel.

Lucian:
Bronzong was bit of a challenge, since Lucian Full Restored it. Medicham made quick work of it. Drapion's Crunch took care of the majority of his Pokemon (I OHKO'd Mr. Mime, thank goodness no Reflect/Light Screen). Staraptor's Brave Bird took advantage of Gallade's poor defenses.

Cynthia:
Magnezone 2HKO'd Spiritomb with Discharge. I also used Magnet Rise, since I was anticipating Garchomp. When she did sent Garchomp out, I Tri-Attacked it, but Garchomp had Flamethrower, which made quick work of Magnezone. I managed to get a Tri-Attack in though.  I sent Medicham out, and Garchomp used Earthquake, which sent Medicham near fainting. I used Ice Punch, and the Ub3rDragon went down. Then she sent out Milotic, and Medicham used ThunderPunch onto it, but didn't quite knock it out. A Surf wiped out Medicham. Staraptor managed to kill Milotic off with a Close Combat. Lucario came in, so I sent in Torterra to Earthquake Lucario, even though Torterra had damage from Aura Sphere. When Togekiss appeared, I used Drapion to use Crunch. It still lived, with a little more than half HP.
Togekiss sent an Air Slash, and I countered with Cross Poison. Guess what?

I got a critical hit! It had Sniper, but that's not important.

Staraptor made quick work of Roserade.

So that concludes my E4 Challenge, which was a piece of cake.

Hm...for a waller,i'm thinking about Shuckle. Most obnoxious wall in the game. I'm think of a moveset like this-

Toxic
Rest
Gastro Acid
Safeguard

Rest is for helping when some heavy damage is done,Gastro Acid and Safeguard are to get rid of annoying Status conditions and any abilities that can slow me down, and Toxic is just there to do damage. It's sort of a "die a slow death" process-Either the opponent goes down after numerous turns of Toxic, or i go down when someone finally does enough damage. Open to suggestions,as long as they don't take out rest and toxic.

And yeah, i probably should have chilled a little. Don't get me wrong,I know the meta game is the best way to win,I just want a little credit for the fact that i can get by with MY style.

However, its low HP pretty much counters its ub3r High defenses. (Base 20, I tell you)

If you didn't choose Azelf, then I would recommend Cresselia, but it will overlap.

A PHYSICAL Wall is all you need.

Why not choose:
Skarmory ((Double) Overlap)
Hippowdon (Sandstorm really helps)
Gliscor (OVERLAP)
Dusknoir (Could also serve as a Special Wall as well as a Tank, if used as Special Wall, it could replace Special Wall Milotic)
Umbreon
Bronzong (OVERLAP)

There are others, but that is what I recommend.  Smiley

=D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D =D Woot, this is great news =D

Any news on an Arceus event for Japan so we can get Arceus legit here if they decide to do the Shaymin stuff all over again and don't bring the events here to Canada?(As in like Toys R Us events, not the Oak's Letter one. Wink)

Also, does anyone have a legit event Shaymin they can lend me, since I dunno if the Oak's Letter Shaymin can activate the Gracidea flower...?

Technically you don't need Wi-Fi for Spiritomb... You just have to go underground and such(Which doesn't require Wi-FI) and talk to someone(One person as long as they go in and out of the Underground 32 times) 32 times.

Lemme guess: Budew vs Budew? =P

I'd go on a hatching spree and get a Budew with Extrasensory. That'll help you take out the other Budew via SE move. Smiley
