Author's Opinion: This thing is a monster in all of its stats not named Speed. Since it summons Sandstorm, it complements its typing, since it gains a x1.5 Special Defense boost in Sandstorm.  To make up for its speed, it has Rock Polish and Dragon Dance at its side.
Recommended Movesets:

Nature: Adamant
Item: Choice Band/Leftovers
EVs: 172 HP/252 Attack/80 Speed

Choice Set: Hold the Choice Band. Moveset is Stone Edge|Crunch|Pursuit|Aqua Tail/Earthquake. It ups Tyranitar's high Attack into very high attack.

Dragon Dance Set: Stone Edge|Crunch|Dragon Dance|Fire Punch/Aqua Tail/Earthquake. Dragon Dance up and sweep. Fire Punch makes Scizor think twice about switching in, while Aqua Tail deals damage to Hippowdon, Gliscor, and the like.
Nature: Brave
Item: Life Orb
EVs: 252 Attack/232 Sp. Attack/24 Speed
~ Crunch
~ Superpower/Stone Edge/Earthquake
~ Fire Blast
~ Ice Beam

You'd expect Tyranitar to be all Physical, right? Think again. With its average Sp. Attack stat of 95, you can actually surprise teams off guard when their usual counters get OHKOed or weakened a lot. Fire Blast rids Scizor, and Ice Beam does massive damage to Gliscor and other bulky Ground types.  
Countering Tyranitar:

Scizor. Bullet Punch. An easy 2HKO for Tyranitar, and if Stealth Rock is present, an OHKO. Beware of Fire moves, as well as Choice Band Stone Edges, as they can 2HKO Scizor, and a OHKO if Stealth Rock is up.

Any Fighting Type can take it on, especially Machamp, since he has enough bulk to withstand Tyranitar's attacks. Lucario must watch out for Fire moves though. As well as Earthquake.  

Bulky Ground types can destroy it, but Aqua Tail and Ice Beam spell their demise.

Bronzong works as well as Skarmory, but that's only if it doesn't have a Fire Move.

Torterra

Type: Grass/Ground
Ability: Overgrow
Overgrow: Boosts power of Grass-Type moves by 50% when HP is at 33% or lower.
Tier: UU

Stats:

HP:       95
Atk:      109
Def:      105
Sp. Atk: 75
SP. Def: 85
Speed:  56

My Opinion: A sturdy Pokemon physically, but he's fairly average other than that. His defenses are fairly good, making for a good tank. His speed is his biggest weakness, along with a x4 weakness to Ice.


Reccomended Setup:
Nature: Impish
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
Function: Tank
Evs: 200 HP/252 Def/56 Sp. Def
~Wood Hammer
~Earthquake
~Leech Seed/Synthesis
~Stealth Rock/Protect

Using Torterra:
Pretty good tank IMO. If you have another Stealth Rocker or entry hazard Pokemon, opt for Protect. I guess that's kind of obvious actually. 

Anyways....after you handle Stealth Rock/Protect, you have another pick: Leech Seed or Synthesis. Leech Seed is more of a slow 'n steady approach, whereas Synthesis will get it all done at once. Even with Synthesis' low PP, you shouldn't need to recover 5 times.

After that, it's pretty simple. Earthquake and Wood Hammer are both hard-hitting moves. Earthquake is useful for dealing with Ice-Types, except ones with Levitate *glares angrily at Froslass* or part Flying-Type *glares angrily at Articuno*, and Wood Hammer is a 1HKO'er for quite a few Pokemon. Just beware of the HP loss.
Countering Torterra:

Ice. Ice will counter Torterra. Earthquake will 1HKO some Ice-types, but like I said, Froslass and Articuno are forces that Torterra should fear. Flying-Types, like Staraptor, can deal with Torterra as well. Oh, and Fire. You have to be careful around Fire-Types, like Moltres. Any Pokemon Immune to Earthquake will be helpful.

If you can get Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock out there, it will slow down Torterra as well.

September 8th: No real news today. But for the first time, I did a review two days in a row.

September 7th: Made quite a few changes today. Featured Pokemon is now in glow, and typing is now in color. Function feature was added. Bold was added to different days for this section. =P Added bold to "My Opinion" section. Reduced space between sections divided by Horizantal Rule. Added bold to Past Review Section.
