yeah, you're right. I got that game on Virtual Console but don't play it much, I can't get past Croco. If I had bought the actual game and not the VC Version though, I would have beaten it in hours. =P

focus on fighting weaker enemies 'till you level up. good luck with Final Boss though-I've been fighting his second stage for months.

...somehow I wish I had just gotten donkey Kong or SMB 3. I've never played that game. I did get SMB2 though.

Anyone here have the original Mario Bros. on Virtual Console? I do! It really shows the beauty of 2-D platformers, IMO. Oh, and that reminds me, M&L Inside Story is partially 2-D, inside Bowser's body is 2-D.

I have SMB 3 Advance. (the version with the secret world E level that required you to buy an E-Reader and E-cards, but only some of the cards were released, so it's impossible to clear world-E)
