I read the Ocarina of Time manga volumes the other day, and I must say, they are
very good.
And somehow; they managed to make the ending even better than it already was... But I won't say anything more about that, to avoid spoilers.
However, although it had Link talking... I must say, it seemed almost natural, just the way the script was written for the manga. Lots of humour too. And some of the scenes are awesome, like a certain revelation(Even though most of the scenes were changed from the game).
It's just; for someone who's played Ocarina in and out, again and again multiple times now... Maybe it was just refreshing. I don't really know; but it was an awesome and enjoying read.
The only thing is that it could've been a little longer; but when you consider that Majora's Mask needed to be done after that, it makes sense why they didn't do some things as they could have.
But overall, the Ocarina manga is a really good read, and I'd recommend.
Whenever possible(Soon. =P), I'm gonna get the Majora's Mask one, and the two Oracle volumes. Oracle should be interesting, given that I've never played either of the two games... But; it sounds like it's an awesome series too. =)
