You'll figure it out pretty fast, as it's a pretty easy concept to grasp. And it's been like that tutorial-wise since the beginning, just adding on different twists to fit new whole game concepts, like the countering add-on that replaced the Add system in the BN3-4 transition.

Really good game so far. Plot seems better than MMSF2 so far. I've beaten the second main boss and am in the third area. I like how the whole game feels updated not only in graphics but in the new Wave stuff that's been created.

I think I've found a reason why the graphics were changed; OSS uses the original BN(1-3) sprites, and the SF3 sprites for the overworld.

It feels like the Wave Roads are in decline in SF3. There isn't much to walk on, IMO. But a good thing from that is that the Sky Wave gets updated to the Astro Wave, making travelling around to places way easier.
I remember BN series had the plane trips to get around. Now a simple Astro Wave gets you everywhere, plus the Wave Liner.

BTW, how do you get more noise forms?

Fight in warning battles, but virus ones only. You'll randomly get new noise forms after you win. And trust me, the Wave Roads are still around enough... Wait 'til you have to get into Noise waves to progress the story...

Beat the game(well, the main story) and I'm collecting cards right now so that I can advance through those annoying pink gates. I currently have a total of 123(plus all those illegal data cards that don't count >< ).

My Noise Form is Tauros (I always try for a fire element type, since they generally have the strongest NFBs and powers (elec has the paralysing charged shot, water is average IMO(the freezing ability is nice) and wood is dominant unless fighting fire. Recovery is cool.)
So far the only noise forms I've tried are Cygnus, Wolf and Tauros. Currently have Tauros and Cygnus saved, but I'm looking for Virgo and Gemini(this one could take a while, since it's more common in BA, but I've found Cancer in RJ, so it's possible to find them).

R forms are hard to beat. I lost to Wolf in Tauros Noise like 5-6 times in a row...

What does the TAG function Gemini form actually do?

And tag function only works on the default form that you start in, and has it so that if you get the card you set to tag, the other ones you set to tag will appear with it.

That's a lot... do you have AcidAceV2 or V3? I have AcidAce and V3, but not V2(which I assume you need to get from illegal card data or chip trader(which is where I got V3)).

How far into the Noise Waves did you go(or did you finish)?

I'm all the way to the final final area. All I need to do is get those last few cards and then get the three other stars(Acid Ace BB/Dread Joker RR, Rogue ZZ, and the Sigma boss stars). But one of the ones I have to fight is a secret boss that returned from last game, and the final final boss... Both of which are uber hard to delete with an S-Rank or what's needed for the cards I need of them. And to make matters worse, last I heard, there wasn't a Cipher for the last V3 I needed. >< And you can get the Ace cards from Ace himself; he's a warning battle in one of the later secret areas.

The eaisest R level boss so far has been Dark Phantom. Actually, he's the easiest boss in both MMSF games that I have, IMO.

Getting 150 Battle Cards takes a while(unless I Cipher Code them, which I may, seeing as how you brought that up).

Which V3 card do you need BTW?

Where can I find Corvus V2? I want to fight him...

Yeah, he's uber easy to counter, same with Queen Virgo(Who was that character I was talking about earlier).

And I need one of s*r**s and a couple of the returning secret boss(You should know him if you got to the end of last game's story driven section of the postgame). And possibly some of Acid Ace, not sure.

And I did not complete MMSF2, the afterstory part. Every Megaman game that I've gotten in this style(which would be 3, MMBN2, MMSF 2 and 3) you need to get a certain amount of cards to advance, and I always get tired of doing that.

I don't like games with anime-out-of-this-world fighting, I think the guys look strange, it's really hard, and I'm just overall a more realistic fighting kinda' guy with a few exceptions of Star Wars and space stuff like that.
