So I submitted a review, which is also on the product page of LEGO Shop, and will also post it here. Let me know what you think of my review, and if you own the set as well, please leave some comments.

As soon as the review is through, I'll post a link here, or if someone could let me know (I might not check back on the Product page for a long time).

RATINGS:

Play Experience: 9/10

Value for Money: 6/10

Sturdiness: 8/10

Build: 9/10

Detail: 9.5/10

THE REVIEW:

Overall, I thought this was a good purchase. It has a nice detail level and is complicated just enough to be fun as well as a tad challenging.

Minus points (definitely) for only one Magna Guard being able to fit in the ship at a time -- I was hoping both could fit in.

I like the creativity the designers put in, especially to the cockpit mechanism, being simple enough, it's not too fragile, works for the most part quite well, and is fairly realistic. The rear hatch which folds down to expose flick-fire missiles (which I really don't like much) is a nice touch, giving another point of interaction for children.

The recommended age bracket on the box fits fairly well, though I recommend this to any collector who wants a good set and minifigs you can't get anywhere else.

For the build it took me approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, so I'd say it's about average for the product's size. Building it was not too much of a challenge, it was a bit frustrating though when I kept putting a few pieces on incorrectly because I forgot to flip the page (to build the invert side of the same part), so I had to rebuild a section of the product adding about 10 minutes since I rebuilt it wrong once (the 10 minutes was subtracted from the build time). There are a few parts which don't go on very easily, so you have to be careful that you don't break anything while building.

Hope this review helps you make a decision on buying this set!

Ab-Z

I will probably write future reviews for all new sets I buy, so if you're considering one, ask me if I might buy it, and if I do, I'll make sure to let you know when I write a review.

Well written and accurate review, AbZ.

I love the sliding canopy. The flick fire missles in the back don't work really well, but thats its only minus I found. One thing I've noticed is that the pieces click together very well with a very satisfying click when attached, something that has been missing occasionally in recent years. It has smooth lines, a much better looking ship than Rogue Shadow. It feels very secure when swooshing and doesn't have too many parts likely to break off easily. The Magna Droids are reasonably balanced and do not need their staffs to stay upright. It WAS a very fun build!

That is good review Ab-Z but I have one quam. I've never understood the value of rating the value for the money. If you love something, money is no object. If you have no money then the purchase price of what you want will always be to high. LEGO isn't cheap for several reasons. First it is highly precisioned. Second, it's colorfull. Third, it's all about imagination and what you can create. Forth, it's washable, Fifth, it's fairly resistant to heat for a plastic. Sixth, it doesn't make much noise and Seventh, it is made out of oil.
So you see where Lego, in my opinion, isn't over charging.

@Legodac Well... some things you don't want to buy because you feel the price is too high for a bunch of washable colored molded solid oil that connects to other bits.

@MsRR Yes, I don't like the flick-fire missiles, but LEGO keeps putting them on sets so I guess kids like them, though they are really loose which causes them to come out while the compartment is folded in.

I really love how LEGO managed to make the ship look smooth while keeping some studs visible.

Another thing you have to watch out for is the rods connecting the cones on the front of the 'engines' are kind of fragile, because my step-dad accidentally kicked it and actually BROKE the end of the rod off. Thankfully we have more of those pieces in our collection.

I really loved your review of my review of your model, made me laugh, I do have a question though, do you a digital camera, these Lego review and moc topics are so much cooler when we can see the model in your house, brings a little flare, what do you think?
