Concerning the game being intertwined with other Lego games, I think it is a good idea.  It helps you to explore the website, and find out some things on the site that you might not have known was there.  Also, if Lego Universe and My Lego Network are somehow tied, I doubt many people would gripe about it...
 
That's just my opinion, though

Also, although it's hard, it gives us something to do.  If it was easy, we'd still be bored, no?  Wink
