@Maple13 I'd be interested in know the 2 "Flames" I did also.  Ironic that some of the other things in that topic weren't considered flames, but whatever I wrote was.  Wink

I actually remember one of the lines and it was something positive like we should believe that this segment of people are hardworking, and wanting to make things better for you and for them.  Still not sure how that is a flame.

I am helping with a Church Christmas pageant, and I have an open house party to watch the "Christmas Ships"

I make a huge pan of lasagna, pierogies, shrimp scampi, Baked Black Bean Dip, Guacamole, Vegetable shu mai, German style meatballs, bread pudding, a huge cheesecake, and more, and yes I COOK for over a week for this party...

That's so cool, sounds yummy too.

We go to my Aunt's on the 20th for the Family get-together on my Mom's side, everyone brings a dish, big feast, lotsa fun and faces you havn't seen for a year or two.

Christmas Eve is when my wife and I have our party, nothing as fancy as yours, we just have turkey dinner, which I love better over the next few days when I get to make turkey and dressing sandwiches

We also open our presents Christmas eve when all the grand children are in one place. I can't wait till one of them asks, "hey how come this is from Santa, when he hasn't even left the north pole yet?"

Forgot to add this  earlier


While opening gifts, we have hot coca or tea and pfferneuse cookies

Christmas afternoon we have a Dinner of Beef Prime Rib roast, Yorkshire pudding, Bavarian beans & spaetzle, baked potatoes, and sometimes a salad.
Who is at the table varies from year to year, family and often friends.


Some years if the weather is good a group from the neighborhood go Caroling.

My family doesn't do anything for Christmas. Its basically just another day in my house. Its quite depressing, really. No Christmas tree, no Christmas lights, no presents... no joy.

Ouchies? That stinks? Not good? Actually, I really don't have anything about Christmas. It's just one day, once every year to buy stuff for some people gifts, coming together for the holidays, I believe the people who are working during that day, should be applauded, for keeping everything in order, and giving out their day to benefit the country. *thumbs up to them* I'm just happy that I have loving parents, and that's all my gift shall ever be.
