Canama: It's quite good as long as you play Empire. The vast majority of the bugs have been fixed and it's very fun. The main problems are that endgame is boring (and endgame isn't part of F2P anyway), and that the Republic stories are not as well written as the Empire one

5: If it's going to die in the next few years (which it isn't, but I refuse to debate this because you'd never convince me and I'd never convince you), then why not try it now? It costs no money, and you might as well experience it before it dies. Not liking MMOs, however, is a perfectly valid reason, though that would be better filed under 3.
The thing's been hemorrhaging subscribers, and considering the steep costs to make it it's proving a massive loss. Honestly, the fact that it couldn't make it a year without going F2P is telling.
