I'm studying for a grammar test, and I was wondering if you could help me.

If you have a non-essential subordinate clause followed by the conjunctive adverb "however", which is in turn followed by independent clause, should the conjunctive adverb be preceeded with an semicolon or a comma? I forget sometimes.

Nah I'm just kidding, but if you need any help with others let me know.
