Bricktopia

Welcome to the Bricktopia topic!
Bricktopia is a microcity build and maintained by me.

The idea came to me while viewing Shannonia, and I decided to make my own. Simple, isn't it?

In any case... I'll keep adding to it untill one day, I run out of space and I destroy it...

So, here are the current updates to the actual MOC:

The Beginning ~ November 14th, 2009

The beginning of the microcity. Simple arhitecture, just getting into the microcity realm.

Update ~ January 2nd, 2010
Upgrades to buildings, while the core landscape remains the same. The first 'official' update really, as the beginning was a test. Still open for improvments tho.

Current written updates:

-2nd of January 2010
After building the first update, I'm completly out of blue tiles, even tho I have a few stored in my tile containers. Time for a Bricklink order one might say.

Exclusives:

Nothing yet

Thank you for visiting Bricktopia!

I imagine new people coming to the forum expecting to see discussion about LEGO, only to see RPGs full of deranged characters and insane people talking about cheese and brains.

Thanks!
And hmm, if this thing grows past 32x32, I think I'll make an actual topic just for updates and stuff... Or could I rename this topic to it... Ah, will do...

Thanks!

R8: The SNIR was much better before I replaced the whole South End, because the pillars on which is stands were more straight... Oh, the costs of making it seem less crowded...

Man this is cool, I love looking at your MOC's, R8's too. I left comments on both and gave you an "I like it  Smiley " on both.

Like I said in the congrats to the FMotY topic , this is what it's all about, sharing creation. Wanna know what's better than then creating, wanna know what's better than sharing, it's showing off someone elses creation. You'll always be 10 for 10 pal in my books.

I truly thought the dock side cranes were awesome, you're buildings are original and similar aswell, hey, it's Lego.

So for those of you who missed a photo or two, here's a few of RAK's microcity, cool eh

BTW, your new skill as a micro modeller can only be exceeded by your skill as a Macro photographer, nice pics pal

Jade: Thanks
Legodac: Thanks! The docksid cranes are probably the most unique building in the city, because I didn't see them anywhere else, makes me sad that I probably need to remove one because I'm running out of those little claw pieces.

Macro on my camera was... uhh, you don't want to know how many tries it took (Well, actually, I got the seaview centre first, and it took me three shots to get right)

LVR: Thanks! It takes a few tries tho. My first try was... uhh, for the shredders, the second one was OK...
