Need help with MLN? Join a team! By joining a team, other members can help each other gain ranks faster without cheating.

Team Requirements
If you are going to join/make a team, you must visit AT LEAST 3 times a week. That's 3/7 days a week. Post a bit, check on your team, etc.

To form a team, simply post in this board (not the topic), and  give requirements (if any) (ex. Must be at least Rank 3 to join, etc.) and a member list for your team, if you want. Whoever makes their team topic is the team leader. If you want to join a team, first, make sure that the team is active and accepting members, and then you can post saying you want to join. Be patient! Recruiting team members takes a good deal of time.
Joining a Team
You may apply for a team in the Teams forum.
Any Team has the right to reject a member for any reason but is not required to give that reason. Should a team not accept you, do not fret, as it is simply a game.

Team Leader
The Team Leader can choose whether to accept or remove members on a team. - If you remove an existing member on a team, You must provide at least one reason as to why you want to remove him or her.The Team Leader also has control over their team board, but not over team boards that they have an alliance with. The Team Leader can also choose the name of the team, as well as the team color, but should not ignore the suggestions of other team members.

Team Board
Each individual team has a board only accessible to other team members of the same team. You may discuss matters over your team, request help in MLN, etc. If you do have an alliance with another team, you can see their board as well.

Team Merge/Alliance
You may request an alliance with another team, at their request. You can see the alliance's team board and even post in it.

A Team Merge is different. Two teams agree on a merge, and decided on the new name and team color.
Types of Teams
There will be two types of Teams. "Limit Teams", which will have a requirement of 3 members to join, and a maximum of 10 members; and "Teams", which will be unlimited. You can be a member of a Limit Team and a regular Team at the same time, but you cannot be a member of two Limit Teams and/or two regular Teams at the same time.

To upgrade your team from a Limit Team to a Team, you must win two competitions(Not finalized yet).

If you use the Limit Team profile field, do not change your team to one you're not a member of on MLNO. You will be given a heads up at first, in case you're not aware of the fact that you put the wrong team. But don't try to say that you're a member of a team you're not.
Inactive Teams

Should a team be inactive for 30 days, a warning will be given to the team about their inactivity. Should they not gain activity one week after the message, the team will be deleted within three days, and the inactive team will be notified. If activity is shown within the three days, then the team will not be removed. If the team leader requests team removal, he or she must contact an Admin, and their team will be deleted. Again, do not ignore the opinions of other team members if they want the team to stay. However, the team members request to stay will be overruled if the team shows inactivity.

Inactive Leaders

If a leader decides to quit the team or is inactive, a team member may contact the board moderator about it. The moderator will set up a vote, and team members can vote on which member assumes the responsibilities of team captain. The vote is exclusive to the team, meaning that only team members can vote. Should the original captain return, the two leaders will share team leading duties.

Inactive Recruitment Topics

A recruitment topic can last for only 30 days, like usual topic in MLNO. It will be locked, but it will not be archived. The topic starter will be notified of this, and he or she may unlock it and post in it if they still want to recruit.

Future updates will be posted in the topic, and quoted here. Some of the new updates may make the old updates obsolete.
