I just found out about this from a friend on facebook: Legoland bought Cypress Gardens in Polk County, FL, and they're going to turn it into a Legoland. They paid 22 million for Cypress Gardens, which had been shut down because of economy fail. This is awesome for me because I live about an hour away.  And it'll give you east-coasters better access as well. News story from my newspaper online. |

Hmm... I sort of want to go to a Legoland, but the nearest one to me is, to be precise, 227 miles away. Which will take just under 4 hours. I'm waiting for one to come 'up North', say Liverpool or Manchester. |
