I really wished sideways logs and vertical logs were different blocks, and let that be the end of it, because I too find it a pain to place vertical logs now.

Neither of you have ever tried building a house out of pistons before, have you? Tongue  Practice with those, and I guarantee log-building will come more easily. Tongue

In other news, I'm thinking about building a small CTM-style survival map.  Since MCEdit is still a rather unstable release, is there another external program I could use to mapbuild?  I don't want to use VoxelSniper, since it's an in-game editor; I need something that can do "illegal" things like placing still water/lava in the air, making a column of ladders for Vechs' bridging bombs, etc.

I have, and it was easier than placing logs, for one. This is because pistons did not exist except via mods before they were added and logs existed before they could be placed on their sides.

Changes to blocks I have been used to placing do not go down well with me.

I've also managed to make a self-building house once.

So, my laptop can't run Minecraft. My computer, however, apparently meets minimum specs. That is perfectly fine. However; I still don't know if I can play classic Minecraft. If so, then I'll have a nice time waster for my laptop. Productivity will go way down. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. =P

updrage yoru ram. it won't be too expensive but it'll enhance the performance of your laptop (thereby extending its life) by a significant amount.

MTM: I'll try, but I'm not sure what exactly will fit into it. Bt I do want to try and look into that at least. Though, given it's fail battery, in the long run, if I intend to use this for powerful stuff, it might be an idea to just get a new laptop period(After a while, though. I have no budget for a new laptop when I only just got two new computers, my desktop and this. =P). *Looks at PK's blog on BZP* ... And preferably one that doesn't get to the temperature of the sun when playing games. =P

Canama: I just got it(Obviously it's not new, of course, but still). =P I works for browsing, but not very much so for gaming, due to fail specs. Despite that, it still manages to run Blender and run it fast, and that's all I'd really care about. =P Save my PC for gaming, despite the fact that it's not as powerful as I had initially guesstimated. Still much better than my old PC, which my new laptop is on par with. =P
